my stance on this topic is the victims of rape should not be forced to bear the baby of the person that raped them but i don't think abortions should be allowed at all times for anyone.

 @9QQG2NZ from Indiana  answered…11mos11MO

Yes as long as funding for abortions is only used when NECESSARY (aka in cases of rape, incest, or under aged pregnancies. ) If in cases when intercourse was legally practiced then funding should not be sent.

 @9MNGKL2 from Indiana  answered…12mos12MO

Yes but reduce funding for abortions and make it pay more out of pocket for abortions, unless it's a rape victim. They have the option to assist paying for it but not a fully payed process.

 @9FMCF8L from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, tho if they continue ue to provide abortion services they should be fully funded to provide the therapeutic ramifications of such a procedure which from personal experience have no subsided for 20 years. It still causes enduring phantom pain. To this day.

 @9F7LZ3JIndependent from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Universal healthcare would solve this issue and remove Planned Parenthood being a necessity at the same time.

 @964KMCR from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

Only if the organizations agree to prohibit abortions unless harmful to the parent.

 @95CXCJ6 from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93L5PJV from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

the government should not control womens body and choices because the people who are making these dissions for women are men and it is unnacceptable

 @93HZ6JS from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

The government should funds the organization that are in need of support that includes all organizations

 @92VB6XZIndependent from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as funding is not used for abortion procedures. Abortions should be paid for by the person(s) wanting the abortion.

 @8YF7SHY from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes as long as the abortion procedures are for people who have become pregnant by a rapist. Personally if you become pregnant and don't have the funds or do not want it, you can always give it to a family who are unable to have kids or give it up for adobtion so it can find a loving nurtoring family

 @8XNYVNC from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

They should be allowed but in only special cases such as it could harm the mother or the baby is unhealthy and determine not to make it before birth

 @8XNTDTY from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8WZLF8F from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, as long as the funding goes to more contraceptive options, prenatal care, and providing information rather than abortions

 @8WYYZ4S from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

I don’t really know but I think women should decide what they want to do

 @8WYB3Q4 from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WV38L3 from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

No, and the government should not give funds to any organizations that are in it for a profit, or you know killing people.

 @8TRZKN5 from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

yes and no because some people get abortions because they have been raped but in other situations abortions shouldn't be allowed

 @8TPQWTYLibertarian from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

yes but focus more money that would go towards abortion on making adoptions easier

 @8SS4ZJX from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

They should not fund abortions but have exceptions for rape, insect, or threatening to the mother’s life. But how they can help some people out with cancer and other Heath related issues that part should be funded.

 @8NG8DGDPeace and Freedom from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals. Unless it's a constant same person getting abortions over and over.

 @8N79FTG from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but there should be resources for low-income women who need assistance with women’s health issues.

 @8MD3G9X from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Looking at the options and what is to say it doesn't sound bad if its helping people with cancer, but not in abortions because if your going to join something like this you must accept risk and accept it. Therefore taking your own financial responsibility. yes for rape and like i said if your going to die giving birth you kind of should just accept it...its easy to say but like i said thiers risks.

 @8M4Z7D7 from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8K2KTQ2 from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, and they should start including abortions to victims of rape and other circumstances

 @8JN4M9C from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes and no, I think the government should only fund planned parenthood if they are planning to actually be a parent. Other wise the government is allowing women to continue getting abortions which is killing a life, and potentially hurting a person.

 @8G6DPCQ from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Only if PP is filed as a healthcare provider. If not, it should be nonprofit.

 @8DP5JPH from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

They help people with other things than abortion so they should stay open.

 @8D8ZLTP from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but more money should be put towards pre-abortion counseling and services. They should provide more resources or direct women to resources/support so that abortion does not seem like the only option

 @8CHT58F from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, with the condition that Planned Parenthood cease to provide any abortion services

 @9CKZ824 from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, funding for abortions should be only used in cases of rape, due to the fact that it is taking a human life. (In cases of rape, the accused should be tried and accused, and in cases of the victim lying, they should be tried and accused. Their lie would be detected by lie tests, detective work, etc.)

 @99TXTJS from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

The services that they provide should be part of the national health care system.

 @989C7QG from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

i believe that abortion should only be allow under certain circumstances like rape but if u are a teen that got pregnant with someone thou thought u loved than they should deal with the consequences

 @97CSZQ6 from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

They should stop funding and you the money to build better homes for the low income areas

 @977XTXF from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

No. Why is it that the government should have to pay for your planned parent hood because you decided to have sexual intercourse and possibly produce a child? It is not the government's responsibility.

 @8KDF6WN from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals, however, make sure funding for childcare and parental training increase while abortions funds have limitations.

 @8GRKN4T from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

I say yes support them but not for abortions. Under certain circumstances yes. If you can go out and have unprotected sex when your young then you shouldn't have the abortion option. There are other choices and maybe we need to come up with more options and offer birth control.

 @8G68VXQIndependent from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Planned Parenthood should only receive funding if it is filed as a healthcare provider. If not, it should be a nonprofit and not receive govt funding.

 @9F7L72K from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Universal healthcare would allow for no funding to Planned Parenthood while still allowing individuals to get the same services previously received at a PP location. Take the private entity out and make it possible to get the care needed regardless of provider.
