It helps with methods of birth control which is how we can prevent people from getting unintentionally pregnant, and even if having an abortion when pregnant is entirely unethical, which I don't think it is, abortion processes should still be legal anyways, as they are needed in order to remove other growths in the uterus, some of which could be cancerous and fatal if not aborted. To clarify as to why I think aborting during a pregnancy is perfectly moral, an unborn fetus in their early stages is not a person yet. They have no manner of consciousness, and are quite literally just a parasite feeding off of the person. The person pregnant, however, has a life, has a family that loves them, has a future that is full of potential, and it is their choice whether or not they want to bring another life into this world. Them having the baby could completely destroy their health, mental and physical, and their future. It wouldn't even be worth it in the end because that child could end up unloved and uncared for and grow into a very troubled human being.
