I have mixed opinions about it. Planned Parenthood should not be able to interfere with the parents or child born or un born unless C.P.S. has to get involved. Planned Parenthood should also not be able to do abortions without full consent from the child's birthing parent who has full knowledge of what abortion mean and all the alternative options.

 @9H65WTJ  from Oregon  commented…8mos8MO

No, and the government should not give funds to any organizations

I agree with you and for that reason I'd say "No" by default.

 @96NVSBDDemocrat from California  commented…3yrs3Y

Absolutely. If you want to lower abortions- make pregnancy prevention more available. We know factually abortion bans don't lower the rate of abortions, that they still occur where it is illegal.

We also know factually that abortions don't occur near as often in places with easy and free access to contraception.

Its a win-win here folks!

The Hyde Amendment already prevents use of federal funds to pay for abortion unless to save the life of the mother.

 @8LC9ZPFWomen’s Equality from Kentucky  commented…5yrs5Y

Yes No No, and the government should not give funds to any organizations that perform abortions Yes, their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals No, and the government should not give funds to any organizations Yes, as long as funding is not used for abortion procedures

NO, abortions should be illegal because you are practically killing an innocent child that cant talk or speak at the moment!! If you get pregnant you should at least keep the baby or give it up for adoption because there are a lot of people who would love to have kids that can't because they may have a form of disease or syndrome that keeps them from being able to have kids of their own. You get pregnant and know what your doing when you do it its your own fault and you should have to deal with the life you made when you done it and should have to sacrifice everything you have so that…  Read more

No, but need to create another organization that provides the other services that Planned Parenthood does but not abortion.

 @9Y8NF88Women’s Equality from Pennsylvania  answered…6mos6MO

I believe that we should fund medical procedures like this in hospitals, so that there isn't a need for Planned Parenthood.

 @9Y6W7RGWomen’s Equality from New York  answered…6mos6MO

Yes, I very strongly believe women have the right to abortion for free, and the other diseases the funding helps cure is good.

 @9XJ7RFYDemocrat from New York  answered…7mos7MO

yes but Planned Parenthood can't be influenced by or financially supported by private entities that may influence abortion and adoptions.

 @9XCMLX2Democrat from Maryland  answered…7mos7MO

No because they should have worked them selves out and have enough funds to support them and their children

 @9X3XKHSDemocrat  from Oregon  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, as long as funding is not used for abortion procedures Or gender affirming procedures. I have no problem if those procedures happen I just don’t think they should happen on everyone else’s dime.

 @9WYHKFWDemocrat from Massachusetts  answered…7mos7MO

No, but Planned Parenthood should instead get funding from donations and/or charge people for the healthcare

 @9WS58LTWomen’s Equality from Indiana  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, their services are helpful in every way. Giving the option for abortions can help women who can't or don't want a child. It also helps with cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals.

 @9WNWBSJWomen’s Equality from New York  answered…7mos7MO

{Yes, but fund towards better workers with an actual medical degree and not just nursing, since there should be no room for mistakes with what these workers are dealing with.

 @9WJBJYPDemocrat from Texas  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, the government should only fund abortions in cases of rape, incest, and when the mother’s life is at risk.

 @9W998NNWomen’s Equality from Texas  answered…7mos7MO

it would depend on the current money they are making and if it was planned, they would probably be well off, due to it being planned.

 @9W47KD4Women’s Equality from Missouri  answered…7mos7MO

I disagree. No form of birth control or condoms are 100% effective. I think you are uneducated on this topic

 @9VRCZJXDemocrat from New York  answered…7mos7MO

It could help a family that planned to have a child, but what if they don't have the money for it, the government fund helps them

 @9VNMCJ7Democrat from Minnesota  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, as long as the money isn't going to the fake places that try to convince you to not get an abortion

 @9TVHH2HDemocrat from Louisiana  answered…8mos8MO

I believe if you plan your parenthood you should be financially stable, I know no one is perfect. but don't put yourself in a position that you know your not ready for .

 @9TJ44YYWomen’s Equality from Missouri  answered…8mos8MO

yes and no i mean if you got harassed, abortion should be allowed but if your an adult and don't want the baby then put it up for adoption or something instead of killing it, it may not be a baby yet but its a human being just like the rest of us.

 @9TB9WHGDemocrat from Massachusetts  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, and the government should make abortions legal again. The fact that they aren't is undeniably unconstitutional and immoral.

 @9T3WB9PDemocrat from Massachusetts  answered…8mos8MO

No, under the assumption that PP is classified as a private health clinic/alternative to publicly-funded hospitals where the same services can be administered

 @9SHKRTBDemocrat from Virginia  answered…9mos9MO

Though i do not support abortions, it is only fine in my opinion if it is from heinous acts such as rape. So as long as it is not used for other things such planned birth it is a LITTLE fine.

 @9S8BHYKDemocrat from Virginia  answered…9mos9MO

Yes, until the government creates a public bureau that performs the same services provided by Planned Parenthood

 @9S7VVWSWomen’s Equality from Virginia  answered…9mos9MO

I believe that yes they should fund planned parenthood but only if the abortion is not just used for birth control.

 @9NVQBFBDemocrat from Washington  answered…11mos11MO

Planned Parenthood now provides cross sex hormones for the purposes of gender transition, an area that has nothing to do with reproductive healthcare, and for which it is not qualified.

 @9K6KVX7Democratanswered…1yr1Y

yes as long as they only give abortions when it will be critical to the mother and or baby or just if giving birth would be an health issue.

 @9H93SX6Women’s Equality from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Only on birth controls and other stuff. Only fund abortions if they have serious problems and could put the child in danger.

 @9H7WFJSWomen’s Equality from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

No, it’s a woman’s right to do what she wants to do with her body, so if she wants to get an abortion she should. The fetus is not a human yet it is practically a parasite leaching off of the woman. And sometimes the woman was sexually assaulted and it is not her fault that it happened. As a woman myself it’s scary to be a woman because of things like these. I want to live in a society that I feel safe and welcomed in.

 @9H7RH6LDemocrat from Washington  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, however, I believe that women should not have more than 4 abortions, unless it's for health reasons or rape.

 @9GLXK2GDemocrat from Washington  answered…2yrs2Y

No, I feel like planned parenthood has a good central message, but funding through the government should not be the primary source of funding.

 @9GCH5CDDemocrat from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

Planned parent is not a governmental agency but should be eligible for any funding available to other health organizations.

 @9G2WJ8MDemocratanswered…2yrs2Y

No, the government shouldn't give funds to people, unless they were a rape victim and or need the help.

 @9FP4N9TDemocrat from Nevada  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9FK7FDNWomen’s Equality from New Jersey  answered…2yrs2Y

The government should fund ALL parenthood regardless of it being planned or not.

 @9FCT6F8Democrat from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

No, Tax payer money would more effectively be spent in increasing the access to free and affordable healthcare which also covers reproductive health

 @9DRCHF5Women’s Equality from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I'm pro-life but at the same time people make mistakes. If the baby is over & weeks there shoullsn't be a choice to abort but before yes.

 @9DQ5VRDDemocrat from Tennessee  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, even if someone is against abortion, Planned Parenthood provides much more than just abortions. It provides effective birth control such as condoms, the pill, implant, ETC. It also provides STD & STI screenings and can provide medication when necessary.

 @9DMYJQLDemocrat from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, not only does planned parenthood reach far beyond abortions, if people don't have a safe and sterile enviroment to get one they are just going to do it anyways but in an unsafe place and with unsafe tools.

 @9DJWCRXWomen’s Equality from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but not for decisions on abortions if a baby was conceived against ones will(rape, incest, etc).

 @9DG8GJJDemocrat from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, for the reason of teaching about safe sex, preventing overpopulation, and not spreading diseases.

 @9DFVNXSDemocrat from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9DFPD89Democrat from California  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe that anyone has the right to believe what they truly desire yes or no its up to them.

 @9D3X7ZZDemocrat from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

No, the government should provide all the services Planned Parenthood currently provides instead. The government should be less reliant on non-profits to provide what should be public services.

 @8HKW2S5Democrat from Illinois  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9YJVRBVDemocrat from Louisiana  answered…6mos6MO

Yes but I believe abortion shouldn't be used as a form of birth control. Meaning you should still be using contraceptives and prevent it if you do not want a child.

 @9FT6Y9CWomen’s Equality from Colorado  answered…2yrs2Y

i think yes and no but if your using it smartly and the right way yes. but if your just using to get out of taking care of a kid no.

 @9FS6773Women’s Equality from Iowa  answered…2yrs2Y

i feel that because planed parenthood is a privet angency that the government should not be funding them at all

 @9BW25TLDemocrat from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @973KTSHDemocrat from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, and fund trusted organizations that promote and prioritize the health of the people

 @96VBSCVWomen’s Equality from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Shouldn't it be the person's choice to decide? If they want an abortion, they need a good reason to. Unless they want to commit murder after the baby is born. Like medieval Japan. To "send back" the baby is the "mother's" choice.

 @96MHZT4Democrat from Colorado  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, they should continue to fund planned parenthood and provide resources for people that want abortions, have stds/Sti’s ext. sex health is basic health.

 @96LRSMPWomen’s Equality from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96KWFC3Democratfrom Maine  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96G8LVWDemocrat from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96G4WDKWomen’s Equality from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

no, the government should focus on funding foster care systems and adoption organizations. They should also provide assistance to pregnant women because they have already taken away the right to make their own choices.

 @969HN6YDemocrat from Massachusetts  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96842P6Democrat from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as they aren't used for abortion procedures. Only if there is something wrong with their child that may cause them to die or if the client has been raped may be the only time it is acceptable.

 @96532CHJustice party member from Connecticut  answered…3yrs3Y

 @963F6W9Democrat from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

I think planned parenthood should be restructured and funded by corporations taxes.

 @95SRS32Women’s Equality from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, planning for parenthood helps show the hardships of raising a family and can hopefully prevent those who arent ready from getting pregnant.

 @95QV2W6Women’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as the funds aren't used for an abortion outside of rape or a hazard to a mothers health or life.

 @95PN5G7Working Family from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

is they help then yes, some people need help or need help knowing what going on.

 @95N9HGRWomen’s Equality from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Planned parenthood is good for their other services and abortion at a early stage, but sometimes they sell the aborted babies parts for a lot of money.

 @95K2YSYWomen’s Equality from Pennsylvania  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes thay should,but with certain guidelines and rules along the lines of if a married woman goes to get an abortion the husband has to sign off on it also a underaged young lady has to have a parent signature or guardian not unless it's going to cause irreversible health problems or death etc.

If you a teen and you're being dumb and had a baby well, it's not easy with the circumstances, but killing a baby because of your stupidity is just like sad, and feels wrong, but if you were a sexual absolute teen who has been raped or etc. I think your body your choice, and the government shouldn't ban any laws, yes...

 @92XZ73BDemocrat from New York  answered…3yrs3Y
