The government shouldn’t offer pass through funding to private organizations and should instead fund low cost reproductive care directly for all

 @9WB9RP8Independent from Massachusetts  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, with required education about alternate solutions and reason restrictions on funding for abortion

 @9TB9WHGDemocrat from Massachusetts  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, and the government should make abortions legal again. The fact that they aren't is undeniably unconstitutional and immoral.

 @9ST678XIndependent from Mississippi  answered…9mos9MO

I don’t have an opinion of this but I think planned parenthood should be funded somehow. Whether through privately or publicly

 @9K8LLD7  from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

I think that abortions from Planned Parenthood should only be legal if the person has a logical reason for not keeping the child (rape, minor, etc.)

 @9JDQ9HC from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

Yes but the government should place more funding into foster care agencies as well as change the foster care requirements.

 @9HVG4RD from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes as long as it’s not to fund abortions that happened through planned intercourse. Abortions should only be allowed for rape victims or people facing health problems impregnated.

 @9F9N5PC from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

Government doesn't fund planned parenthood - they bill public insurance (medicaid and medicare) for services and apply for grants like any other medical institution.

 @9DFXYN7 from Ohio  answered…2yrs2Y

If the family does not have enough money for it and if they don’t want it then they shouldn’t HAVE to keep their baby

I believe sex ed for young kids may cause some problems, so maybe an age difference but I believe other stuff good fully

 @99VDHH8Progressive from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

If they dont it'll just be done by much shadier groups. We saw this with prohibition.

 @9683VLJ from Washington  answered…3yrs3Y

 @954YXVB from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, use that money to create a federal government funded abortion clinic

 @94KZMNW from Iowa  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93F69KZ from West Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Planned Parenthood itself has enough funding, the government needs to fund other family planning and health programs

 @8YY5LH3 from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

I do support pro choice but I do not agree with plan parenthood and how they started and what they stood for in the past.

 @8YNRLPTSocialist from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

such services should be within government funded hospitals, and their shouldn't necessarily be a need for a separate entity.

 @8YJ2X4LSocialist from West Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8WCN95T from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

They sometimes don't give the best healthcare, however they should be funded but the funding should increase with the quality of healthcare planned parenthood offers.

 @8W6ZFWP from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes because it doesn't matter if women are going there to get an abortion it is there body and they are allowed to get an abortion safely rather than in a very sketchy disgusting not properly sterile environment that could end up killing her

 @8VSBXNKProgressive from Missouri  answered…4yrs4Y

I believe that Planned Parenthood should be supported through private donations, that way it wouldn't be government controlled and people who disagree wouldn't worry so much about where government funds are going.

 @8TP5DC2 from Kentucky  answered…4yrs4Y

time frame. But they should fund contraception. And mental and educational support for single mothers.

 @8TG8RB2 from Kansas  answered…4yrs4Y

Continue to fund planned parenthood until we can fix the foster care system

 @8SH2BSG from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

I'm in between. This question is difficult, test screenings and saving lives is good, but abortions are bad because you are taking the life of an unborn child that didn't even get a chance to step into the world. It will die in the darkness then leaving in the light. It's just not right.

 @8QTZ7MY from Georgia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, due to certain circumstances. However, funding should decrease and be limited forcing a cultural change in sexual behavior.

 @8QTKY23 from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

tax payers should have a choice if they want their taxes going towards planned parenthood since it touches on religious convictions

 @8QSTJMDGreen from Hawaii  answered…4yrs4Y

yes but instead it should go to abortions because not all people are fit to be parents so i'd rather die then live a life that wasnt planned/ accidental, and i would hate to live in a orphanage

 @8Q55F52Socialist from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

I do not have enough information of the Planned Parenthood organization on the issue to decide

 @8PZCWVQ from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, as long as every case has a legitimate health concern for the individual and not just handing out abortions due to being careless and lazy.

 @8PDDG98 from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8P2QWP5 from Illinois  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, because planned parenthood helps people who can't afford it get other necessary things, like cancer screening and prevention, hormone therapy, and general healthcare.

 @8NQZWLLWomen’s Equality from North Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

the government shouldn´t take women choices if she wants the baby or not. Her body her choice no man should be able to choose for her and take away her rights.

 @8NLYSRVIndependent from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

if one is raped then yes they may have an abortion however if no rape you must keep or foster the child

 @8N57WBCDemocrat from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8LQVCT6 from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, they should continue to fund Planned Parenthood as well as Unplanned Parenthood.

 @8KSRYR5Socialist from North Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

It's already illegal for government funding to go towards abortions. The government funds Planned Parenthood's necessary services such as cancer screenings, adoption referrals, and STD testing.

 @8JYKZHN from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8HL4DFN from Massachusetts  answered…5yrs5Y

In a comprehensive single payer system planned parenthood's services would all be offered by the national health program

 @8G9QRGB from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but in equitable and humane fashion. Understanding the complexity of the abortion issue

 @8D89SQ3 from South Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

I am fine with abortions as long as the person was raped nobody should be forced to carry a child that they do not wan

 @8CZ5SWV from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8C4R5RT from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

I think if you can afford to have a child, you can afford to get rid of one...use a condom lol

 @995B6HW from West Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, the funding should be there because there are instances where abortion is 100% needed. There should be funding for rape abortions and or life or death situations. That funding needs to be there to take care of a woman. Women should have a right to choose up to 10 weeks into a pregnancy and no further. You know and have a chance to decide within that time period. So Planned parenthood is a necessity.

 @992HFLT from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but abortion care should be funded by Medicaid and covered by insurance, and be widely available.

 @98YFFGCIndependence from West Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @98L85JJ from New Jersey  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but fund only abortions in cases of rape or incest, and only those under the age of 25 can get an abortion for any reason.

 @96ZCKHNSocialist from Kentucky  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but I think they should fund an alternative service provider without the issues planned parenthood has with eugenics/racism

 @96BRJP3 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Planned parenthood should be funded but focused more on helping victims of rape and provifing aid as an alternative to abortion. And abortion used only as a last option. They could help fund women to carry the baby to term so they can put up for adoption.

 @8Z6SZ78 from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8VJ5JKVSocialist from California  answered…4yrs4Y

No, abortion’s should be part of public health, and private corporations like Planned Parenthood shouldn’t make a profit from them.

 @8Q5JKWF from Kentucky  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8KGG4GZ from Colorado  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but give women other resources to make sure that they know that abortion isn’t the only option.
