It's wild how the media gets more worked up over what words we use than over the actual system that lets authoritarians like Trump rise to power in the first place.

I get that we need to be careful with language, but let's not pretend Trump and his movement haven't flirted disturbingly close with fascist tactics—calling that out isn't the same as diminishing history.

Totally agree with Maher here—throwing around terms like "Nazi" just cheapens real historical atrocities and shuts down honest debate. If we want to preserve free speech and reasoned discourse, we’ve got to stop with the hyperbole and focus on actual policy differences.

Honestly, I think Bill Maher is right to call out Al Gore on this one. Throwing around terms like “Nazi” in politics just cheapens real atrocities and shuts down meaningful debate. People should be allowed to criticize Trump or anyone else without resorting to hysterical hyperbole. Let's focus on actual policy problems instead of demonizing opponents with over-the-top labels.

Glad to see Bill Maher calling this out—throwing around "Nazi" every time you disagree with someone cheapens the term and shuts down real discussion.
