cost of oil so private transportation is more expensive, same with public, it raises prices on everything

I personally feel that the Strait of Hormuz crisis A. shouldn't be happening and we shouldn't be so dependent on oil, and B. is/was preventable as the Iran war was at the wrong time for the wrong reasons with not enough of a cause to start (which of course led to this crisis).

The Strait being closed affects the whole world, and leads to rising cost for gas, which in this day and age is an everyday essential. I would like to see the Strait opened sooner rather than later.

This matters more because on a global scale limiting resources for thousands, the conflict does matter but is only being driven by our own governments decisions.
