Maybe if Washington spent less time pushing woke policies and more time managing their state properly, they wouldn’t be so reliant on federal handouts every time something goes wrong. Funny how blue states always cry for help but never take responsibility.

Denying disaster aid after a deadly storm is just heartless—this is exactly why we need a government that puts people over politics.

Honestly, this feels like one of those times where politics might be getting in the way of common sense. If a storm causes millions in damages and fatalities, it seems like it should qualify for federal help, regardless of which party’s in charge. That said, I get that FEMA has guidelines, and maybe they’re trying to stick to them to avoid setting tricky precedents. Still, disaster relief should be about helping people, not scoring political points. Hopefully the appeal leads to a more balanced outcome that actually helps the folks on the ground.

Once again, working people are left to clean up the mess while the federal government turns its back—disaster relief shouldn’t depend on political games.

It’s outrageous that the federal government is turning its back on people in need—disaster relief shouldn’t be politicized when lives and communities are at stake.

This is just another example of the Trump administration playing politics with people’s lives—denying disaster aid to a blue state after a deadly storm is cruel and completely unacceptable. Washington deserves the same support any other state would get in the same situation.
