At a time when we’re all deluged with conflicting polls and statistical ties, Donald Trump’s campaign is unusually confident.The Kamala Harris operation also sees reason for optimism, with news that late deciders are breaking her way by more than 10%. But she still casts herself as the underdog. Her "SNL" appearance doesn’t change that; nor does Trump saying that RFK’s plan to remove fluoride from the water, a major public health advance, "sounds okay to me."Most media folks, either publicly or privately, believe Trump will win, even as the anti-Trumpers beg their followers to turn out for the VP – such as MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace asking her ex-boss George W. Bush to publicly back Harris.The climax of the campaign seems built around a gaping gender gap–with Kamala doing far better among women and Trump much better among men. The view from the Trump camp is that registration figures favor Republicans, based on mail-in voting, in the battleground states that will decide the race. Nearly half the country has already voted.Take the crucial commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2020, Democrats had a 7.5% advantage, and that’s now shrunk to a 3-point edge.What’s more, just 39% of Democrats who have voted there so far are men, compared to 49% among Republicans.Democratic strategist Tom Bonier, who appears on MSNBC, says the Pennsylvania electorate is much more Republican, and much more male, than last time.Harris needs a huge turnout in Philadelphia to carry the state, and numerous news reports say she’s… Read more

Harris has so much stacked against her, but I’m really hoping these late deciders turning her way give her the boost she needs. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle in states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, especially with Black male voters.
mail-in voting trends can still shift things in unpredictable ways. It’s definitely going to be a nail-biter, but no one should count Harris out yet.

women can't get drafted and 90% of work place deaths are mens, why don't we just kill a bunch of female employees to even it out about. y'know equality.
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
Because her campaign has done nothing to get male votes.
@8TJTZL5Republican1yr1Y
Living in rural Wisconsin, I see why Trump's ahead here. In-person voting feels like a return to tradition. People here feel ignored by Harris's campaign. It's all about urban promises, but what about us? Trump talks to us, not at us.
@HeronWillowDemocrat1yr1Y
Trump's policies haven't helped the average worker. Kamala's fighting for healthcare, education - real issues that affect everyone, not just the top 1%. The gender divide is because men are scared of losing privilege, not because they're making a rational choice.
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
Nearly everyone in Elbert County, CO, is voting Trump. Yes, even the women. You know why? Harris doesn't give one d-mn about us.
@9Y4FVC31yr1Y
the top 1 percent pay over a quarter of the taxes, and have you ever heard of DEI, men aren't afraid of losing privilege; they are losing it. Let me give you an example: two people sign up for a job, one of them is much more talented, dedicated, and qualified. That person doesn't get picked, why? Because the other person was a black female and the company thought they were not politically correct with their employees. I have a dream that people will be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Sound familiar?
I'm skeptical about Trump's confidence. The polls might be all over the place, but late deciders often break for change, and Kamala's gaining ground there. Plus, the demographic shifts in places like Pennsylvania? That's not just male voters, it's complex.
Exactly! And let's not forget the suppression of the Black vote. If Kamala can't energize that base in Philly, it's not just because of gender; it's systemic issues. We need to address why some Black men are turning away, not just point fingers.
@9Y4FVC31yr1Y
I dont understand the lefts need to separate voters and people based on the color of their skin, sounds kind of racist if you ask me.
I don’t buy any of these poll numbers, honestly. Polls said Trump would lose big in 2016, and we all know how that turned out. Harris’s camp is clinging to optimism because they know they’re losing. The gender gap won’t save her; men and rural voters overwhelmingly back Trump.
@Renaldo-MoonGreen 1yr1Y
The thing about 20156 is the polls were right. Trump did lose the popular vote big. By 2.8 million votes. Yet the electoral collage played its game and poof Trump won.
@MAGA_Deplorable1yr1Y
The polls showed him losing in states he won
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
Because he cares about us.
Trump's got this in the bag. The polls are just noise. Real Americans are tired of the chaos, and they're coming out in droves. Look at the gender divide - men are waking up to the fact that Kamala's policies hurt their jobs, their wallets.
@Renaldo-MoonGreen 1yr1Y
Kamala's seen as a threat to male supremacy in this country. Male supremacy is not a good thing.
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
It is the way that God designed things. It is not bad.
@Renaldo-MoonGreen 1yr1Y
You know what I'm sick of. People using God to justify being racist sexist bi---s. All people are equal God did not create some people to be superior.
@MAGA_Deplorable1yr1Y
No, not all people are equal. All people have equal rights to life, liberty, and private property, all people are equally human, all people have equal moral worth, but people are not equal in their duties, privileges, and social roles. Men and women are different. Women were designed to be caregivers and nurturers. Men were designed to be breadwinners and providers. This has been an acknowledged common sense fact for all of human history until five seconds ago.
If Harris wants to win, she needs to engage with issues young people care about, like climate change, student debt, and social justice. I’m not excited to vote for her because she feels like more of the same. Trump’s supporters are energized, and that’s worrying.
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
We're energized because his policies actually help America. You're right, Harris is "more of the same." If she wanted to do anything she could've over the past four years. Biden is easy enough to manipulate.
@9Y4FVC31yr1Y
maybe you need to rethink your views.
Harris doesn’t connect with the average American. Trump speaks our language—he talks about jobs, national pride, and freedom. Harris can do her TV appearances, but it’s not going to resonate with those of us dealing with inflation, high gas prices, and struggling businesses.
@Renaldo-MoonGreen1yr1Y
Trump doesn't connect to average Americans either. He can only connect with men which eliminates 50% of the population of the bat.
@@1876-Elbert1yr1Y
"He can only connect with men..." Pure lies. It just so happens that every woman I know bar maybe five is voting Trump, and more would if they could.
@Renaldo-MoonGreen 1yr1Y
Its was a general statement. For the most part he connects only with Straight cis white men, but this is not always the case. Most women don't support him considering he's a threat to their rights.
@MAGA_Deplorable1yr1Y
He won Latinos by historic margins, winning the most hispanic county in America by 16 points. He connected with black men, losing them by less than any GOP candidate in recent memory. He connected with white married women, winning them. He connected with American Indians, whom he won by double digits. Stop spewing these lies. It turns out that people with brown skin, contrary to what you libs like to think, actually have functional brains and can decide on issues for themselves. It turns out people with different skin colours hate crime and inflation and child mutilation and baby murder and nuclear war as much as anyone else. It turns out that your party's Great Replacement conspiracy is backfiring big time because these Hispanic Catholics are pissed off, and they helped save our country this week.
@9Y4FVC31yr1Y
id think again tomarrow
@Renaldo-MoonGreen 1yr1Y
Considering 1/3 of the population did not vote in the election...
@MAGA_Deplorable1yr1Y
Like that's not what happens in virtually every election
@MAGA_Deplorable1yr1Y
Hello...? You do realise he won the popular vote, don't you...???
The gender gap here is staggering. Harris appeals to women, Trump to men. It’s just sad that our politics have gotten so polarized that we’re almost entirely split along gender lines. I want a candidate who can speak to all Americans, not just one group.
@9Y4FVC31yr1Y
agree, but we already have one hes call trump
@PluckyLemurGreen1yr1Y
Economic indicators suggest Trump's confidence might be misplaced. While he's got the male vote, the economic recovery talks are more favorable towards Kamala. She's been pushing for policies that could genuinely help with recovery.
@7Y8765ZLibertarian1yr1Y
The fluoride comment from Trump is so on-brand—playing to those who question everything government-related. Love him or hate him, he’s tapped into something real with people who don’t trust big institutions. Harris trying to appeal to establishment figures like George W. Bush? That only strengthens Trump’s appeal to anti-establishment voters.
