Yes, because same sex marriage falls under the Declaration of Independence, as it would fall under the pursuit of happiness

It doesn't really matter to me people should just do what they want and what they believe.

I beileve you can love whoever you want, it does not affect me in the slightest. I think its a little weird. I was raised in christain beilefs and am kind to all people no matter who they are. They are still humans who deserve kindness and respect. I don't think it is right to make churchs have cerimonies for same sex marrigaes if these are not the teachings. I do not beileve you should make movies for little children with same sex realtionships.

Marriage should be legal between any consenting adults, but shouldn't be tied to so many government functions

No, marriage is a spiritual institution. Inherent in the vows is the belief in God. However the government should sanction civil unions

I don't really care what gender or who you are if the two people love each other and want to be married they can be.

Yes, if you don't want to perform the ceremony, then respectfully decline.

 @999GN9Z from California  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, but it shouldn't be illegal for non-government-funded companies / places to deny the marriage of a same-sex couple

 @8DW3VX8Republican from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Government should stay out of the marriage business. But government can involve itself in civil unions for tax purposes.
