Lie to them if needed, but in the same smarmy way they lie to us so it is not actionable later.

I would lie and say ok, then go after the crooked George W. Bush created American Gestapo.

Politicians lied their way into this anti American era of mass surveillance, so why can't Tulsi lie to get rid of the abomination.

My advice: lie. Tell them what they want to hear then do it anyway. Why? Because that is the way of DC. You either beat them at their game or you lose. There is no "right way" that doesn't include vicious underhandedness. Undoing DC is no game for moderates (losers).

Tulsi could stand by her convictions about 702 thus being a powerful voice in her hearing against the BS they will all be using to vote down her nomination. She will have to redirect her career then but what the hell good is a political career if you're just a stooge?

This is how Washington really works: GOP Senators are telling Tulsi Gabbard that the only way she has a chance to be confirmed is if she renounces her long-standing opposition to mass FBI/NSA domestic spying powers, and vows to support FISA

Wow who could’ve foreseen this and that Gabbard has always been an attention-seeking charlatan that doesn’t believe in anything
