Republican Gabe Evans has won Colorado's 8th Congressional District, unseating Democratic incumbent Yadira Caraveo.
Caraveo conceded after a close race, with Evans securing 48.98% of the vote compared to Caraveo's 48.19%. This victory is a significant win for Republicans, who invested heavily in flipping the suburban Denver district. The result brings the GOP closer to securing a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The 8th District, one of Colorado's most competitive, has now shifted from blue to red.

It's great to see Colorado’s 8th district flip red—hopefully this is a sign of more common-sense policies and a stronger conservative voice in Congress!
Honestly, while it’s cool to see the GOP flip a seat, I’m not holding my breath for any real change. Both parties just keep growing government and infringing on personal freedoms. At the end of the day, it’s not about red vs. blue — it’s about getting the government out of our lives. I’ll be more excited when we see candidates actually committed to limiting government power across the board.
