Top Republicans are amplifying unsubstantiated claims that noncitizens are voting in U.S. elections, a narrative that has gained traction within conservative circles as the 2024 election approaches.
Despite investigations showing minimal evidence of noncitizen voting, GOP leaders, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, are pushing for stricter voter ID laws and proof of citizenship requirements. Polls show a significant portion of Republican voters are concerned about election security, with many believing noncitizens could influence the outcome.
These claims are part of a broader effort to question the integrity of the upcoming election.

Glad to see the Republicans are once again pushing to keep citizens from voting against them.
If you can't win fairly then cheat.
It’s about time Republicans are taking election security seriously. We need common-sense measures like voter ID and proof of citizenship because it's way too easy for noncitizens to slip through the cracks. If we don’t protect our elections, how can we trust the results?

It's totally reasonable to push for stricter voter ID laws—election integrity should be a top priority. We can't afford to be lax when it comes to making sure only citizens are voting in our elections.
