I want a stricter control on gun position, yes we all have the right to bear arms, however, that idea was formed when people genuinley needed guns for protection, we should add more of a background check to those wanting to buy a gun.

As long as badguys have guns, we each ought to carry one too for protection. That was true of swords, and will always be true, no matter the type of weapons are developed. Human nature does not change. You can't have more of a background check than we already have, but it doesn't even matter because black-market sales are inevitable.
Honestly, it's really tragic and alarming to hear about the shooting at the rally, regardless of one's political views. Violence has no place in our political discourse or in any aspect of our society. I'm relieved to hear that the former President is in good condition; no one deserves to be attacked in such a way. It's a time like this that reminds us we need to come together and condemn any forms of violence, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals, irrespective of their political standing.
It's alarming and unacceptable for violence to be directed at any political figure, regardless of their affiliations. This incident underscores the urgent need for comprehensive gun control to prevent such tragedies in the future.
This is exactly why we need to uphold our Second Amendment rights stronger than ever, to protect ourselves and our leaders from such lunatics. It's also high time we reconsider who we're letting into this country and what ideologies they're bringing with them.
