How does the idea of an 82-year-old senator running for another term challenge your expectations about age and leadership?

 @9M7Q7J9Democrat from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that if he is not stressed out then he should run. With age comes experience and someone I can trust is someone who has the knowledge and experience like Bernie Sanders

I belive that as long as you are legally allowed to run you should be able to run.

If he can still do the job and has done a good job then I say its fine, and if people want him then by all means

Get rid of the old folks in office. Get a young person in there that can look towards the future of this country.

While Bernie Sanders' commitment to his principles is admirable, his re-election bid raises some concerns about the progressive direction he champions. His focus on policies like expansive healthcare access and tackling income inequality, although well-intentioned, often overlooks the importance of market solutions and the risks of excessive government intervention. It's crucial for the Senate to maintain a balance where progressive ideas are considered, but not at the expense of fostering innovation and economic freedom that neoliberal principles advocate.

Seriously, Bernie Sanders running for a fourth term? This is exactly what's wrong with career politicians, clinging to power for decades and pushing the same old radical agenda that's out of touch with real American values. It's high time for fresh faces and ideas in the Senate, not more of the same leftist policies that threaten our nation's principles of freedom and personal responsibility.

Well, here we go again with Bernie Sanders aiming for yet another term. While his dedication is clear, I can't help but question the practicality of his progressive agenda, especially when it comes to the economic impact on everyday Americans. His focus on expanding healthcare and addressing climate change is admirable, but the methods and the potential burden on taxpayers raise some serious concerns. It's important for us to consider the long-term implications of these policies and whether they're truly sustainable. As much as Sanders champions the working class, I believe we need solutions that promote growth and personal responsibility, not just increased government intervention.

Bernie's decision to run again shows he's not done fighting for us, pushing for fairness and equality in a time we need it most.

Bernie Sanders' decision to run for a fourth term is exactly the kind of news that gets me fired up! It's reassuring to see that he's not backing down, especially at a time when his voice is so crucial in the Senate. His commitment to tackling income inequality, healthcare, and climate change is more important than ever. I mean, having someone as dedicated as Bernie continuously pushing for progressive policies gives me hope that real change is possible. This reelection campaign isn't just about holding a seat; it's about affirming that the fight for justice and equality is far from over, and I'm all here for it.

If you could vote, would you support a political leader because of their beliefs, even if they were much older than most people in government, and why?
