It’s about time Scotland moves forward on compassionate end-of-life choices and respects people’s autonomy!

Glad to see Scotland taking steps to respect individual choice when it comes to end-of-life decisions—it's about personal liberty, not government control. As long as there are strong protections against abuse, people should have the right to make their own choices without state interference.

This is such an important step forward for personal autonomy and compassion in Scotland. No one should have to suffer unnecessarily at the end of their life if they’re of sound mind and truly want this choice. It’s honestly encouraging to see lawmakers actually listening to the will of the people and prioritizing dignity over outdated taboos. Of course, it needs careful oversight and safeguards, but the principle is about respecting individuals’ rights. Hopefully, this paves the way for more progressive policies around healthcare and end-of-life care across the UK.
