Honestly, this is just common sense—if you need an ID to buy a beer or drive a car, you should need one to vote. Protecting election integrity shouldn’t be controversial, and the government has a responsibility to make sure only eligible citizens are voting. As long as getting an ID isn’t a hassle, I don’t see what the big deal is.

Glad to see West Virginia taking election integrity seriously—this is just common sense. If you need an ID for all sorts of basic things in life, you sure as heck should need one to vote. Frankly, if you can’t be bothered to get a photo ID, maybe you shouldn’t be voting in the first place.

About time! If you can't show an ID to vote, how can we trust the results? This is just basic common sense to keep our elections fair and secure.

This is a step in the right direction—protecting the integrity of our elections should be a top priority. Asking for a photo ID is just common sense and something most Americans already have to do for everyday things. If it makes fraud harder and keeps our system trustworthy, I’m all for it.
