I feel like there is no spot of it in our country considering that we are an evolving country that we cannot stay in a coservative mindset

 @9KSGPBB from Missouri answered…2mos2MO

I’m opposed to this conservative movement. It created the MAGA movement.

If everyone prioritized local over global, how do you think that would affect the world you're growing up in?

 @9LBPK36Independence from North Carolina answered…4wks4W

everyone would become divided because their would probably be different rules in different local places

 @9LBPJFR from Florida answered…4wks4W

It would make the place i grew up more prosperous but we would know engage less with the outside

 @9LBPD7Ganswered…4wks4W

There would be more problems globally like climate and economic issues.

In your opinion, does a limited government enhance personal freedom and responsibility; why or why not?

 @9HN6RV7 from Michigan answered…5mos5MO

I think so. Slightly less governmental involvement would be better.

 @Minarchist-08Libertarian from Washington commented…2wks2W

“Slightly”??? Are you kidding? I say decrease government by greater than 90%! All it should do is provide police courts & military.

 @9HN63R3Libertarian answered…5mos5MO

Not necessarily. I believe a good strong government is necessary to protect the civil liberties of the people by protecting them from exploitation by other powerful individuals such as wealthy business-owners and religious leaders.

Why might someone argue that national sovereignty is crucial in a world of growing globalization?

 @9HMYTN7 from North Carolina answered…5mos5MO

Some of the arguments in favor of national sovereignty in a world of increasing globalization include:

- Protect national interests: Strong national sovereignty allows governments to protect the interests of their citizens and prevent them from being affected by the negative effects of globalization, such as job loss or job insecurity.

- Preserve cultural identity: Globalization can make it difficult to preserve a country's cultural identity, while strong national sovereignty allows governments to protect and promote their country's culture and identity.

How do you think our current societal issues would be addressed through a lens of strong local traditions and values?

 @9LH23G2 from North Carolina answered…3wks3W

I think people are entitled to their own beliefs and can address stuff how they want.

 @9LGZV5M from North Carolina answered…3wks3W

These views are extremely restricting and don't have a place in our current societal climate.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1mo1MO

Do you feel that a government playing a limited role in the economy would better serve your future financial prospects?

 @9LFJ67Q from North Carolina answered…3wks3W

no as we can see with little government involvement the "free market" devolves into monopolies and slave labor

 @Minarchist-08Libertarian from Washington disagreed…2wks2W

That’s what they call the Slippery Slope Fallacy — “we can’t have liberty, because then slavery would return, and monopolies!” Give me a break.

In which situations have you noticed the tension between preserving cultural heritage and embracing diversity?

 @9HV92JV from Massachusetts answered…4mos4MO

A lot of people who stress preserving traditional values also tend to be opposed to the diversity of modern America.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

Why might someone believe that upholding traditional cultural values is critical in today's world?

 @9HV9648Democrat from Minnesota answered…4mos4MO

Because people would loose there heritage and forget about there backgrounds.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

Have changes in society prompted you to cling more tightly to certain traditions; can you give an example?

 @9JPWSWK from Illinois answered…3mos3MO

I do believe I have begun to cling more to paleoconservatism because while change is good, too much change is bad. Electric cars are a good example because they are far more expensive to repair, destroy power grids as shown in California, and the batteries cause even more environmental damage than they are trying to fix.

 @9JP5ZBX from Tennessee answered…3mos3MO

F old rotten traditions its disgusting and they all should be destoryed

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

How would you describe the ideal balance between government authority and personal liberty in your life?

 @9KB9KWK from New York answered…2mos2MO

I think foreign intervention is really important for our country because not only people that are outside of our country are intervening, also immigrants and having such a conservative idea sometimes is not really good for the development of the nation.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

In what situations do you think individual freedom should be prioritized over state authority?

 @9JBGM3G from California answered…3mos3MO

With our heath. No one should tell us what vaccines to get or what to eat. we need freedom over our bodies while also still making good decisions.

What are the risks and benefits of prioritizing national interests over international cooperation?

 @9HPF2HF from Delaware answered…4mos4MO

National interests will greatly help the US, but if we focus on international cooperation, America could be very involved in things that go on in the world.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

When have you felt that 'the old ways' made more sense than modern approaches to a problem you faced?

 @9JR5NLM from Georgia answered…3mos3MO

Everyone should be able to have their own opinion. If not that would be abuse to the 1st amendment.

 @9JR5S6B from Wisconsin answered…3mos3MO

It doesn't really make sense too me because the old ways had people as slaves and people had less rights.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

How does the idea of non-intervention resonate with your views on current events or historical actions by your country?

 @9L36J37Republican from Virginia answered…1mo1MO

I mean if "Paleoconservatism" supports restrictions of immigration, trade tariffs, protectionism, economic nationalism, isolationism, return to tradition relating to gender, race, sexuality, culture and society, I am all for it.

 @9L35T95 from Illinois answered…1mo1MO

I feel that we should be involved only if it threatens international peace like during the second world war

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

Do you believe cultural traditions have a place in educational institutions, and what might that look like?

 @9HV8FDQ from North Carolina answered…4mos4MO

It would be a good thing for students to learn a little about other cultures, if the other cultures agree.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

What does 'anti-federalism' mean to you, and can you see its principles at work in your local government?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Have you ever encountered a situation where you believed international involvement was unnecessary or detrimental?
