Ukraine needs to focus on defending its sovereignty, not rushing into a ceasefire that only benefits Russia. Every time negotiations start, Russia keeps attacking, proving they can’t be trusted. A strong nation stands its ground and doesn’t make deals that weaken its position. The West should keep supporting Ukraine with weapons and aid instead of pushing for talks that might just freeze the conflict on Russia’s terms. Any agreement that doesn’t fully restore Ukraine’s borders is a betrayal of national sovereignty.

A ceasefire is desperately needed to stop the bloodshed, but any deal has to hold Russia accountable for its war crimes and ensure Ukraine’s sovereignty isn’t compromised.

So now we're supposed to believe that Russia will play fair in a ceasefire? Give me a break. This whole thing started because of weak leadership in the West, and now they want to negotiate from a position of weakness. Ukraine keeps getting billions of our taxpayer dollars while our own borders are wide open. It's time to focus on America first and stop funding endless conflicts that don’t serve our interests.

The U.S. has no business being involved in this mess in the first place. If Ukraine and Russia want to negotiate a ceasefire, great—but why are American officials even at the table? This whole war has turned into a massive money pit for U.S. taxpayers, funding weapons and aid while our own borders are a disaster. A 30-day truce sounds like a band-aid on a much bigger problem, and frankly, I don’t trust any of these governments to act in good faith. The focus should be on de-escalation and diplomacy, not endless funding and intervention. Also, let’s not forget that the Black Sea grain deal is really about global markets, not some humanitarian gesture. Bottom line: stop using American resources to police conflicts overseas and let these countries handle their own affairs.

It's about time they start talking seriously about a ceasefire, but let's be real—Russia isn't going to back down unless they get something out of it. Ukraine needs to be careful not to give away too much, especially after all the support we've given them. The Biden administration needs to focus on protecting American interests first, not just writing blank checks for endless war. Hopefully, this leads to some real peace, but I won’t hold my breath with how weak our leadership has been.
