Good for Governor Stitt! It's about time we stop using taxpayer dollars to house undocumented criminals. Why should hardworking Oklahomans foot the bill for people who shouldn’t be here in the first place? This plan makes sense—focus on protecting our citizens and using resources wisely.

We don't need to be using taxpayer funds to provide for undocumented / illegal immigrants, and that includes keeping them in our jails when we already have overcrowded jails. Criminals who are citizens get shorter incarceration periods and are turned loose on society well before their time, which is a miscarriage of justice.

Media says it's such a bad thang that Trump will deport a lot of people when Obama was literally called reporter and cheif

It’s about time someone took action to stop wasting taxpayer money on people who shouldn’t even be in this country. Kudos to Governor Stitt for putting Americans first and cleaning up our prisons!

The governor said it costs the state $35,000 a day to keep the 526 inmates in the Oklahoma prison system. His office hasn't tallied those in jails, not expected to be a high number.
