Honestly, I’m glad to see Kevin de León finally out. After all the controversy, it’s time for fresh leadership that actually puts the people first. Ysabel Jurado’s win feels like a big victory for tenants and working-class folks in LA. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a broader shift toward more progressive policies in the city.
