This is exactly why we need strong border security and strict immigration policies to keep these kinds of threats out of our country.
While it’s great they stopped this plot, it's a reminder that our government’s foreign interventions often create these threats in the first place. Maybe if we stopped meddling abroad, we wouldn’t have to deal with stuff like this so often.
It's good that justice was served, but we also need to balance security efforts with addressing the root causes of terrorism to prevent future attacks.
