While it's tragic what's happening in Lebanon, we need to be careful about getting too involved in yet another foreign conflict. Our priority should be fixing the issues at home before sending millions in aid abroad, especially when there's no guarantee it will lead to lasting change.

It’s good to see world powers stepping up to help Lebanon, but we really need to be pushing for more long-term solutions beyond just financial aid. The people of Lebanon deserve stability, democracy, and human rights protections, not just band-aid fixes. Hopefully, this international attention can lead to real reform and a stronger civil society.
