A massive influx of outside spending is flooding swing states like California and Michigan, with groups pouring millions into get-out-the-vote efforts.
These efforts include unconventional tactics such as viral videos, giveaways, and even 'poll dancer' parties, all aimed at influencing voter turnout. The spending is largely independent of official campaigns, with groups like Turning Point USA and Musk’s America PAC playing a significant role.
Democrats are currently outpacing Republicans in fundraising, but the impact of these outside efforts remains to be seen.

This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when you let politics be all about money and power. Both sides are just trying to buy influence and votes instead of actually listening to the people. It's ridiculous that these outside groups, most of which aren't even transparent, can just dump millions into elections without anyone really knowing who's pulling the strings. We need to get government out of our lives, and this kind of thing wouldn't be as much of an issue.
It's frustrating to see so much dark money and corporate influence trying to sway elections instead of focusing on what voters actually need. This kind of shady spending just undermines democracy and makes it harder for regular people to have their voices heard.

Campaigns in California’s hottest congressional races are being boosted by outside groups. That money is on top of fundraising by the candidates, where Democrats are besting Republicans.
