Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, a 27-year-old Afghan national living in Oklahoma City, has been arrested and charged with plotting a terrorist attack on Election Day.
According to federal prosecutors, Tawhedi, along with a juvenile co-conspirator, planned to carry out the attack on November 5th in the name of ISIS, targeting large groups of people. The FBI intervened before the plot could be executed, and Tawhedi now faces serious charges related to terrorism.
