It's really frustrating to see someone in a position of influence spreading harmful, xenophobic stereotypes, especially when these kinds of rumors are often rooted in racist fearmongering. While I appreciate that the rabbi apologized, it's important that we hold leaders accountable and ensure real steps are taken to heal and support the community. Let's hope this sparks more dialogue and solidarity with migrant communities, instead of just damage control.
