It's about time Congress takes action to protect our leaders. In times like these, we need strong measures to maintain order and ensure that those running for office are safe from any threats. The chaos in society today is out of control, and we can't afford to be soft on security. If you want stability, you’ve got to be willing to use the necessary force to keep things in check.

It’s about time Congress took candidate security seriously, especially with the surge in political violence we've seen lately. No matter where you stand politically, threats to candidates undermine our democracy. Let’s just hope this momentum continues and we also address the root causes of all this extremism.

While it’s important to protect candidates, the idea of Congress rushing to throw more money and power at the Secret Service feels like another excuse for government overreach. Maybe if they focused more on scaling back the endless regulations and meddling, we wouldn’t have so much anger boiling over in the first place. Security is necessary, but we should be careful not to sacrifice more freedom in the name of safety.
