In what ways do you think the media influences the selection process of presidential candidates?

It affects what we see in regards to candidates, and who. Advertisements are heavily skewed by PACs and large donor blocs.

Unsure. I assume the most powerful people in the D/RNC have the ultimate say at some level.

It's refreshing to see someone like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. push for a more open and democratic process in the Democratic Party, especially in light of the recent shake-up with President Biden not seeking re-election. His call for transparency and a fair debate among candidates is crucial for ensuring that the party truly represents its base. I think his stance could really energize the party and bring in some much-needed fresh perspectives, especially at a time when the country is so politically divided. It's about time we had leaders who prioritize democracy and inclusion in every step of the electoral process.

Kennedy's push for a more transparent nomination process is exactly what we need to break from the stranglehold of party elites and give power back to the people.

How important do you think it is for political parties to have open and transparent processes for selecting their candidates?
