A federal appeals court has issued an order to temporarily block the implementation of President Joe Biden's student debt relief plan, known as the SAVE Plan.
This decision prevents the administration from lowering monthly payments for millions of Americans who are burdened by student loans. The court's action comes in response to an emergency motion, although it does not constitute a final ruling on the legality of the plan.
The blockage of the SAVE Plan represents a significant setback for the Biden administration's efforts to provide financial relief to student loan borrowers.

How important is it for a government to provide financial relief to people with heavy educational debts?

Their fault, we can't keep increasing inflation to save people from their debt. Decrease interest rates and retroactively apply it to their loan. Their are plenty of career paths that do not require (and others that should not require) college degrees. Feeding into that system will only worsen the matter. Furthermore, the government should decrease loan amounts overall and limit loans to only public institutions. The cost of college has inflated way beyond what is sustainable.

I feel like Millennials have continuously been subject to policies designed to benefit Baby Boomers despite Baby Boomers holding significantly more wealth, are retired, not starting new families, and are way… Read more
Once again, the courts are standing in the way of desperately needed relief for millions of students drowning in debt; this is a huge step backwards for progress.

Finally, a court stepping in to prevent more government overreach and dependency by halting Biden's student debt bailout plan.
