Do you think supporting election certification while being considered as a running mate for someone who opposes those results demonstrates integrity or opportunism?

Can't believe Sen. Tim Scott is still backing the 2020 election certification, especially when so many of us have doubts about the legitimacy of those results. It's like he's not listening to the base or respecting the concerns that many of us have. Sure, he's in the running for VP with Trump, but how can he stand with us on other issues if he's not willing to question the 2020 election? Calling Biden the greatest threat to democracy is something I can get behind, but it feels a bit hollow if he's ignoring the cries from his own party about election integrity. It's a complicated time to be a conservative, and actions like these don't make it any easier to know who to trust.

Sen. Tim Scott sticking to his guns on the 2020 election certification just shows that principled integrity still means something, even if it ruffles feathers in your own backyard.

It's refreshing to see a figure like Sen. Tim Scott uphold the integrity of our electoral process, despite the political pressures that might sway others.
