Too bad Affirmative Action wasn’t stopped 40 years ago when I entered the workplace and was told White Men would be promoted last regardless of skills/ability. DEI is Affirmative Action on steroids and it is racist.

 @S0cialistLeahPatriot from West Virginia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

No one that was in charge of promotions ever told you that lmao

Good Lord…

This is interesting – to see a member of the far-left Green Party opposing anti-White discrimination, and a member of the allegedly right-leaning Patriot Party mocking him for it.

For those not versed in MAGA's hatred, DEI (or DE&I) stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a discipline, DEI is any policy or practice designed to make people of various backgrounds feel welcome and ensure they have support to perform to the fullest of their abilities in the workplace. How is this at all bad? Women, Minorities, and people of all walks get a chance at a good job, etc. I think Vance and the GOP are thinking something else...

Here, I fixed it for you. "As a discipline, DEI is any policy or practice designed to make people of various backgrounds go to the front of the line and puts straight, white, males in the back of the bus."

I’m pretty sure that those people who are hired under that recruitment program has more experience and a better education than you do and the fact that you want to have them fired for no reason, other than your mediocre, insecurity says more about you than it does them.

DEI is a toxic and racist ideology that aims to minimise the roles of white people in society and discriminate against competent and capable individuals. It is an anti-meritocratic, anti-American, anti-freedom cult, and must be snuffed out.

Should all be judged by the content of our character and not the color of our skin.

But some of you are crying that Caitlin Clark should make the US Olympic team because of the lack of straight white women on the roster.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Stop pretending people said that because she was white. People said that because she's GOOD at the sport. She just happens to be white. The real racists are all the whiny crybabies griping that a white woman is in the WNBA.

All this DEI Hysteria is a smokescreen for reasserting White Supremacy. Sadly, my Texas A&M succumbed to this and embarrassed themselves. The only place they want DEI is on the football field and the basketball court.

Show me the evidence. When you make such an outlandish claim, you should be prepared to provide evidence. Oh that's right – you don't have any.

I can see contractors being placed into double jeopardy if they are compelled to have DEI by some other entity. The result may be a loss of responding vendors. The idea is fantastic; I just see some devils in the details that need to get thought through.

I wish it would pass. It won’t obviously. What’s more viable, Is a backdoor built into budget or rule making. . Like environmental impact studies to block or slow legislation. Maybe a cost analysis study. Balanced budget. Where the agency is forced to analyze the position. How it will help the core mission of the agency. Could it inhibit core principals of agency in anyway or military readiness How much will it increase the budget. Proposed budget cuts to balance hire. I love Vance’s idea. Won’t happen.

What about recourse for those whose careers have been upended, ended or otherwise stymied by DEI policies. Should be fertile ground for some class action lawsuits.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How would you feel if job applications, college admissions, or government services didn't consider or promote diversity, equity, and inclusion?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Should the focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion be considered a fundamental value or a temporary need in our society?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you believe that DEI initiatives create more unity or division in society, and why?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

If diversity, equity, and inclusion programs were removed from schools and workplaces, how do you think it would impact your community or future opportunities?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you feel about the idea that government should not be involved in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEIs)?
