Even if you're not a fan of Trump, the idea of revoking someone's gun rights over a non-violent felony conviction really makes you question how far the government will go to disarm citizens.

Looks like they're using every little excuse to go after Trump, now they're even taking away the man's right to bear arms.

Honestly, it's about time the law applied to Trump the same way it does to everyone else. Losing his gun license is a no-brainer given the felony conviction; you can't just overlook that because someone was once the President. It's refreshing to see accountability in action, especially considering the seriousness of the charges against him. This might set a precedent that no matter how high your office, you're not above the law. Also, it's a stark reminder of the importance of integrity in public office, something that seems to have been lost on him.

Should a felony conviction automatically disqualify someone from owning a gun, or are there circumstances where exceptions should be made?
