What Ukraine really needs is the A-10 a 50-year-old plane that is designed for close support of ground troops. If they had this plane which is easy to learn they would be able to push Russians troops out.

The A-10 would be quickly shot down without air supremacy. Ukraine does not have anything close to air supremacy and most likely will not even gain air parity with the addition of the F-16. The A-10 works for US forces because of the overwhelming air strength the US relies on.

I don't know how it would do vs. Russian air defense, but I agree, if it's a ground war, train them and send some over, see what happens. It's worth it just for our strategic education. Maybe after the F-16's are established

We should be giving Ukraine everything and anything they need to win this war. If we don’t, and Ukraine falls, Putin will assume the West is weak and he will go after his next target, Poland and other NATO countries. This is want he wants. And he will do it.

We should be there, on the ground with advisors and strategists ensuring Ukraine wins. Period.

You are calling for an extremely dangerous escalation of conflict with a nuclear power based, I think, on false premises. Ukraine has a totally different relationship to Russia from Poland or the Baltic states. Putin does not have the power or resources to launch an all out war against NATO, but if Nato gets directly involved with the current war, it increases the likelihood of nuclear conflict that will destroy life on Earth as we know it. Please take this into consideration.

Neither Ukraine nor Russia can “win” in this war, period. “Give Ukraine everything” is not going to work, even if we give them nukes - Russia has more of them. What the situation needs to stop the aimless bloodshed is diplomacy. We deal with all sorts of regimes around the world, we can definitely deal with Putin.

There is zero chance Russia goes after a NATO country. No need to be dramatic.

Ukraine has gotten plenty. If they need more they should look to European allies who have the most to lose should Russia prevail (it wont).

It doesn't matter what we think. It matters what they believe. There are some Russian scholars discussing the use of nuclear weapons to call off NATO own premise of the article 5 into question. They argue that they can challenge NATO response. They think we would panic and let them take whatever else they want, including Poland. Reading the comments they are not far off. We either support Ukrainian fight for freedom or we will 100 percent be fighting for our own in the future: literally.

Well guys, hate to burst your innocent little bubbles, but the Easter Bunny's not real – and Ukraine will lose this war.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you think Ukraine's lack of trained F-16 pilots impacts the global perception of military aid effectiveness?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

To what extent do you believe advanced technology like F-16s should be distributed considering the potential for escalation in warfare?
