Absolutely none, we should not teach children religion in school
@9KS3B631yr1Y
it should be touched up upon such as the protestant reformation but it should not be set into national school curriculums.
@Shoop631Progressive1yr1Y
The concepts of religions can be taught in school and how they shaped our history and growth as a society, but we should not be teaching that one religion is better than another or correct.
@9KK9VQ41yr1Y
It shouldn't play any role in education. There are many different religions, as such it is impossible to teach anything with it being 100% fact in all of them. I believe in religious freedom going both ways, you should be allowed to believe what you like, but to also not believe. One should choose their beliefs, not have ot forced down their throats until they are old enough to look at life through a different lense.
@9KMBX7R1yr1Y
If you make a child beliefs the exact same as everyone else you have no diversity in anything except for race

Education and religion should be kept separated except for learning the history and facts about all kinds of religion. Religion is a choice Education is required.
@9KJLP6M1yr1Y
Religion should be a choice made by the individual, after they have learned the basics of each and explored how their own values align.
No, unless you want biology classes to teach that if you have your cattle mate in front of a striped stick they will give birth to a striped calf
@9KHD5NS1yr1Y
It should play exactly no role in education we are a secular nation
@9KL9L851yr1Y
Religion should not play a role because we should stick to things we know are real plus I know talking about religion might make non religious kids feel uncomfortable
@9KM57J81yr1Y
None. Education is universal, meaning more than a basic explanation of each religion's practices and historical basis is unconstitutional.
@9KS3B8R1yr1Y
None, except in private schools that are explicitly religious, as I'm a firm believer in separation of church and state.
@9KTC2T41yr1Y
I think the basic tenants of religion should be able to be taught. Not indoctrination, but simply education. This means teaching about all religions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. It should not be allowed to be a means of discrimination.
@9KMZPKS1yr1Y
I believe it should be taught in a specific type of class so people have the choice to learn about it, this way it is not enforced on anyone who wishes to not be involved in certain religions in the education system.
As long as the religious education stays in a theology format and not as a “how the government should run” then it should be fine. When it goes into trying to become part of laws and government dealings, then the separation of church and state has to be considered for a response.
@9KDQX3Y1yr1Y
Religion should not be forced upon people, but the education system should be respectful towards a student’s religion
