Yes, but add stricter requirements for eligibility and verification

 @9FDPQWWReform from Alabama answered…7mos7MO

Yes, but we should create an online alternative to where you can either vote from a Government monitored website or app to vote.

 @RightWingVultureWorking Family from California agreed…7mos7MO

That's an intriguing perspective. Estonia, for instance, has successfully implemented online voting since 2005. It offers convenience and accessibility, potentially boosting voter turnout. Yet, with the growing sophistication of cyber threats, how can we ensure the security and integrity of an online voting system?

 @9CRZVKLIndependent from Washington answered…10mos10MO

Yes, and make voting compulsory but add stricter requirements for eligibility and verification

 @9BHQL29 from Kentucky answered…1yr1Y

No, and we should ban all mail-in ballot voting in order to prevent another rigged election. The 2020 presidential election was a rigged election and was not conducted fairly.

I feel that mail-in ballots should be sent out per the request of the voter, but there should be a thorough verification process for these ballots. Consistently, I feel that in-person voting should require photo-ID as a form of verification.

 @9GVQQKS from Virginia answered…6mos6MO

No, but make voting compulsory by making Election Day a national holiday so that people may have the opportunity to vote in person

 @99ZQNTD from Kentucky answered…1yr1Y

No, and we should abolish all mail-in ballot voting in order to NOT have another rigged election like we did in 2020. The 2020 presidential election was NOT conducted fairly at all.

 @9D3RPBQfrom Guam answered…9mos9MO

Voting should not be compulsory due to how coercive and Unethical it can be, Also it undermines democracy. Also voting should be voluntary and participatory

Yes, unless the individual opts out of the mail-in option, and provide some sort of identification for both in-person and mail-in, not driver's license or social security number - perhaps fingerprint or facial recognition; also voting needs to be compulsory if the individual is a United States citizen

 @9B9WG7D from Utah answered…1yr1Y

No, all mail in ballots should be abolished unless a fingerprint is place on the security envelope and scanned and if there are a threshold of irregularities then the election is overthrown.

 @9B8KL66 from Missouri answered…1yr1Y

No, mail in ballots should only be used when unable to get to polling location (physically, taking care of someone else, out of town/working on Election Day). Verification includes a photocopy of two forms of ID (same items used for any other place that asks for it).

  @ContentContent05 from Texas answered…1yr1Y

Yes, and slowly work towards making the whole mail-voting system electronic and digital.

 @9F56K6ZLibertarian from Utah answered…8mos8MO

No. This has compromised elections and has made the majority of the public not trust the outcomes.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…8mos8MO

Actually, mail-in ballots have been used for decades without issue, and the only people who distrust (or blatantly deny) election outcomes are conspiracy theorists who fall for anti-democratic propaganda.

 @GratefulPeacock from Arizona disagreed…8mos8MO

While it's true that mail-in ballots have been used in some capacity for years, it's also important to note that the scale of their use in recent times is unprecedented. This has led to logistical challenges and concerns about potential errors or fraud. For example, in the 2020 New York primary, over 20% of mail-in ballots were invalidated due to errors in completion or delivery issues. While this doesn't necessarily indicate widespread fraud, it does highlight potential vulnerabilities in the system.

As for the distrust in election outcomes, it's not limited to conspirac…  Read more

Unfortunately, this country seems to actively make it as unnecessarily complicated and/or difficult as possible to vote, which is a huge problem, especially considering how already anti-democratic our political system is.

More transparency and accountability of media sources that promote and spread lies and conspiracies about "mass voter fraud" and "stolen elections" and other propagandized rhetoric would significantly reduce the amount of public distrust and misinformation about our elections. Overall, our election process should be much more accessible and streamlined,…  Read more

No,
Also those that wish to vote but cannot make it due to illness or other severe challenges shouldnt get them either, but rather 3 people with body cams on and visit the person to cast their ballot day of. When finished then seal it while on camera and take these limited and very rare ballots with voters thumb fingerprint put into a secured triple paddlocked safe that only is opened if the partys heads are present with the key that opens the box. Overseas ballots should be treated the same way and signed with a thumb print on the inside and outside and signed on camera for another line of verificiation.

No, mail in ballots should only be used by the elderly over 75 years of age or the disabled with proof of ID and written authorization from their physician.

 @9LQBZCWDemocrat from Pennsylvania answered…4 days4D

mail in ballots should be available to anyone who is unable to make it to polls on election day, or someone who will be out of their voting area on election day

 @9LPCF9X from Minnesota answered…6 days6D

No, there should be an online ID verification system in place for this now, mail in ballots are archaic in 2024.

 @9LPBL5L from Illinois answered…6 days6D

No but make voting compulsory. Perhaps all voters of a certain age and up or those who are unable to vote in person should automatically be sent a mail in ballot. Those who are able to vote in person would need to apply for a mail in if they do not want to got to a polling location to vote. Subject anyone who is capable of voting to a fine should they refuse to vote.

 @9LMTGMF from Montana answered…1wk1W

No, they should only be used for people that want to vote and are unable to go in person for some reason

 @9LMDYWDSocialist from North Carolina answered…1wk1W

No, I think this would make fraud a bit easier. I do think that anyone who wants to vote by mail absolutely should be able to.

 @9LLQ6P8Forward from Arizona answered…1wk1W

Make voting day a national holiday and require companies to allow every employee the opportunity to vote if they choose to be open that day.
