Yes, but for only partial tuition. Said students should be held to a higher standard as well to keep funding fair.

 @9WQSB73 from Oklahoma  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, but only if the student earns the scholarship objectively through academic achievements and more.

The cost of college has grown exponentially, not only should interest rates be lowered (if not zero) but the cost of attending should never cost more than the average home and should realistically not cost multiple times more than the average income (especially for the younger age range).

if government would make it financially easier to survive or make more jobs for people to live off of without struggling, I feel we wouldn't even need four-year schooling as much. Make it easier for the people that are trying to go to school but also don't make it harder for the ones that did push through and go to school. we need to work together not separate.

 @9FKJRTW from Oklahoma  answered…2yrs2Y

they should make college a lot cheaper and help pay like half of it and leave the rest for the student attending.

No, and all subsidized loan programs should be abolished so that tuition costs may stabilize according to the value of higher education.

 @94B86C3 from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

No but at least make it cheaper $40,000 a year is more than some single parent households bring it so chill it out with all the student loan bs

 @92L4CYG from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

No one should have to pay tuitions, including parents. College should be free for everyone.

 @8YVKGHC from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

Taxes should be used to keep tuition affordable. Federal government should stop allowing states to push the burden of education costs to the federal government and utilize state budgets to keep tuition in line with their state costs.

 @8WHQ8SV from Oklahoma  answered…4yrs4Y

Give everyone 36 months of tuition paid for like the GI Bill does, after 36 months of school the student has to pay out of pocket.

In addition to lower interest rates, colleges should make it to where students only need to pay for classes that are absolutely essential to their vocation. However, a high school diploma should still be necessary for anyone to go to college.

 @8RFTNRT from Oklahoma  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only to degrees that would have an economic return for the country. ex: medical, engineering, computer science fields.

I don't believe that it should be paid for by the federal government, but should instead be regulated to affordability for all.

 @8NXW2TK from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but only up to a certain amount and limited to major areas of study that that has realistic job market such as accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, business, any science, etc..( so excluding most liberal arts majors)

No, colleges and universities themselves should lower the cost of tuition, not the federal government, as well as providing opportunities for lower-income students.
However, there should be systems in place so that those with lower incomes aren't permanently harmed by the decision to take out a student loan, and interest rates must be lowered.

 @8GG6TBC from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

No. If students want to go out of state they should pay for that, but if they want to go to the community college then they shouldn't have to pay.

 @8G9BRJMSocialist from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

They shouldn't have to. Lower the tuition rates at public universities.

No but provide lower interest rates for student loans and provide more scholarship opportunities for low income students

 @98VR9RY from Oklahoma  answered…2yrs2Y

I think they should lower the interest rates for student loans for all college students and cover about 50% or more tuition based on a minimum test and grade requirement to show that those using the money are at least semi-serious about their education. ex. Gpa-2.0 ACT-20

 @978CTRGUnity from Oklahoma  answered…3yrs3Y

Partial tuition and 0% loans that can be forgiven when filing bankruptcy.

As internet thechnology is rapidly evolving and ever-changing . A fund for online college; creation, tuition, etc. would be the better alternative- in infact this is the better option.
