Should it be illegal to burn the American flag?
In 2006, the U.S. Senate rejected a Constitutional Amendment which would have allowed Congress to pass legislation prohibiting the burning or desecration of the U.S. flag. The Flag Protection Act of 2005 was introduced by Senators Bob Bennett (R-Utah), Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Mark Pryor (D-ARK) and Thomas Carper (D-Del). The Act proposed a punishment of up to one year in jail and a fine of no more than $100,000.

No, however, it should be illegal to burn in protest the Constitution and Bible which protects our rights and tells us where our rights come from (that includes freedom of conscience).

Yes, if it’s tarnished and old

No, but prepare for a firing line.

If using the "N-word" is hate speech, and banned, then burning the flag is 1000x worse.

No, but no protection if they’re attacked while burning a flag
@8RYDY7L4yrs4Y
yes, but make it a fine of 5.00
@8FNCN9H5yrs5Y
No, this is the proper way to dispose of flags that are too worn for service.

Yes, but only at the local and State level. At the federal level, it would be unconstitutional.

Not as long as the flag being burned is owned by the person burning it.
