This is an issue that should be determined by each individual state government. If the state chooses to allow this than they should be able to do so.

This liberty should be beholden to the adoption service provider in question and should not be dictated by the feds.

No, and gay couples should not be able to adopt children

No there are more solutions to this problem than putting children into the hands of predators.

Why not improve the adoption and foster system? Or look at the reason kids get put up for adoption in the first place. Why is the "right" answer always to let gays adopt kids? Kids are not objects, no one is entitled to them just so they can feel included.

No, and I believe a mother and father family structure is best for the child

Yes, sexual orientation should not be the deciding factor in whether or not someone should have the legal ability to adopt a child. The deciding factors should be whether or not someone is mentally and financially capable of loving and caring for a child. Especially in a world without abortion where there may possibly be more children being put up for adoption, it would be foolish to deny the ability to adopt a child to somebody simply based on which adults someone is attracted to.

Yes, as having two parents is better than having none, however, straight couples should be prioritized

Yes, in a world without abortion more children will be up for adoption. Therefore it would be foolish to deny the ability to adopt children to loving prospective parents. Two parents are always better than no parents.

It should be up to the adoption agency who receives priority. Adoption should be completely privatized.

Yes, and adoption requirements need to be relaxed to reduce the failings of the foster system.

 @8XCGBD3 from New Jersey  answered…4yrs4Y

An adoption agency should be able to deny a gay couple based on religious beliefs.

 @8TZ68BH from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

yes. but I do believe a nanny of an opposite gender would really make things better

 @8TM7N9BConstitution from Oregon  answered…4yrs4Y

Should be left up to the individual adoption agencies, not a government issue

 @8TB798W from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

It should be the individual choice of each individual and agency involved.

No, religious organizations should not be forced to offer children to gay couple. All other adoption rights should be the same.

 @8NSVNZD from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

The biological family should have a right to choose or deny a gay couple

 @95J5J7B from Wisconsin  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but we need to do more research on if gay couples provide as well for children and straight couples

 @8YS4ZQK from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Regarless, the adoption agencies should make the decision for themselves

 @6LKT66Vanswered…5yrs5Y

Heteroseuxual relationships are better for children then gay or single parent scenarios however a single parent or homosexual couple makes a much better parent than foster care.
