We should address gender identity as a mental health issue. AND, Discrimination should not be allowed in job searches, housing, education, etc. That doesn't mean your employer/insurance must cover you though.

No, I don't agree with the idea of gender identity, but discrimination generally should be disallowed

 @8LPJLCDRepublican from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

No, because people take non-discrimination and go the polar opposite where for some people they use it as an excuse and it can already get some people that identify as another gender or are gay or something else so that they can't be fired really even if they are a HORRIBLE worker or something. There is still freedom of speech and everything so they still have there own lives and can make their own choices, but it shouldn't affect anyone else just like mine shouldn't affect someone else. It goes both ways.

yes but the definition of discrimination needs to be clarified, EX they should be protected from discrimination, someone should not be allowed to not give a job on the basis of their gender identity, however not using someone's pronouns should not be considered discrimination,

i feel like if its the people who take extreme offense to everything, then no, they don't matter so much, but to people who are more reasonable and more understanding, then maybe

 @92H7BDX from Utah  answered…3yrs3Y

This is a confusing topic and I personally do not have a preference or stance in it.

 @8SVFSYGRepublican from Utah  answered…4yrs4Y

No, it's not discrimination if nobody knows one is oriented a certain way, so it shouldn't be called "discrimination".

 @8QW7QJ7 from Utah  answered…4yrs4Y

No, it should not be a law but I do think people should try to respect another's choices on what they want to identity as

No, there are only two genders based on science and genetics. It is a mental illness if you think otherwise. You are either born a boy or born a girl. There is no in-between. It's that simple.

 @8MRQM8X from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

I support LGBTQ+ It should most definitely be anti-discriminated against.

 @8M84W4C from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

No cause it shouldn't matter what people identify as.. they should be judged based upon their qualifications

 @8LSQWNV from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, while our sex is decided at birth people should not be forced to adhere to gender roles. While I understand that some people may be part of a religion that is against trans and other such people they should not try to force their religion on someone else.

No, people should just be treated as people, the government doesn't need to be involved

I believe all individuals are important but think that’s something you should learn in your home, not from the government.

 @9B6K86K from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

While "gender identity" is really quite ridiculous, it shouldn't be the reason someone is denied services or a job

Yes, even if I don't agree with people choices, they have the right to be anything
