In the U.S. a citizen may give $2,700 per election to a federal candidate, $5,000 per year to a PAC, $10,000 per year to a State or local party committee and $33,400 per year to a national party. Citizens and corporations may give unlimited amounts to a Super PAC. A Super PAC is freed from traditional campaign finance laws as long as it does not fund a candidate or campaign or coordinate directly with a campaign how to spend donations.

No, the way the current system is set up heavily restricts 3rd party candidates from being able to receive equivalent funding as the establishment parties. I'm not against limits, but limits need to be reformed so all candidates are on equal footing.

No, make it so politicians can't pocket money and can only receive money if it is for a political campaign/political resource. However, all donations should be public knowledge.
@8P5T33F5yrs5Y
Candidates should only allocated a specific amount they can use in campaigns to allow less financially endowed candidates to have a better chance.
@8M49RB55yrs5Y
Yes, but only large corporations. Unions, and non-profit organizations should be able to fund a candidate who matches their mission.
@8LMXV4D5yrs5Y
No, but if they are receiving too much money they should retire it to the people or give it to people in need.
@8J5LX3K5yrs5Y

Democracy should be reformed.
Yes. I think it would make the process more fair.
@8CG26MQ5yrs5Y
Limit the total amount of money received. With enough money, you can get your propaganda everywhere and skew votes immensely without ever sharing your views. Especially to uneducated voters (voters who don't have time to learn about the candidates.Not implying stupidity but lack of current knowledge).
