In the U.S. a citizen may give $2,700 per election to a federal candidate, $5,000 per year to a PAC, $10,000 per year to a State or local party committee and $33,400 per year to a national party. Citizens and corporations may give unlimited amounts to a Super PAC. A Super PAC is freed from traditional campaign finance laws as long as it does not fund a candidate or campaign or coordinate directly with a campaign how to spend donations.

No, but politicians should have a set limit on the total amount of money they can spend on campaigning
@9P4VKHS11mos11MO
Yes and corporations /businesses should not be allowed to contribute to political candidates, political pacs should be elminated, accepting lobbying gifts/favors should result in dismmissal from office, any funds not spent during the campaign should be required to be donated to A pre-designated and disclosed charity. There should be limits on what you can spend on political campaigns to allow more people to run for office. There should be required debates for all candidates.

No, as long as all donations are public knowledge, as well as the source of any donations from the individual and the individual is a US citizen.
@8ZXFXSP3yrs3Y
No, as long as the money has no impact on the decisions the candidate makes in the future. This is contingent in everyone wants and tries to be "good" people but unfortunately that is not the world we live in. So, for the world we live in? Yes. Probably to keep the corruption down.
@8ZFCD9P3yrs3Y
Yes, and move to public funding of campaigns
@8XC4KJH4yrs4Y
All persons seeking political office should be fed into a pit of sharks.
@8TC2VNT4yrs4Y
No, but it should involve a legal process, corporations shouldn't be treated as individuals in this case, and should be public knowledge
@8RT27H24yrs4Y
No, but ban ALL foreign donations, including private citizens, the leaders of countries, and countries themselves
@8L5HJPF5yrs5Y
US Citizens should be allowed to contribute to their hearts (& Pocketbooks) content, but over a certain dollar amount there should be an audit, to try to limit foreign money
