Generic drugs are non-brand-name medications that are typically cheaper because they are produced after the original drug’s patent expires. Price caps limit how much pharmaceutical companies can charge for these generic versions, aiming to keep them affordable for patients. Proponents argue that removing price caps promotes market competition, can spur innovation in the generic drug market, and may lead to better supply and availability. Opponents argue that eliminating caps could result in significant price increases, putting essential medications out of reach for low-income or uninsured patients.

The cap should only be broken by companies who provide proof that their generic production of a drug is proven better than it's other over the counter competators

I don't thing that the government should be able to tell you want you can and cant charge when it comes to your business.

Yes. The government should instead offer affordable medical insurance and healthcare system to compete with the private market.

No, price limitations on genetic medications help patients afford and obtain them, eliminating them could result in needless increases in the cost of necessary medications

Yes, but I would prefer changing the system to where drugs are rarely prescribed and holistic health is the focus, not just symptom treatment.

No one should be bankrupted for getting sick. I support targeted relief that forgives medical debt for low- and middle-income Americans and holds healthcare providers and insurers accountable for unfair billing practices. But full blanket forgiveness without reform won’t fix the root causes — it just kicks the can down the road. We need both relief and reform: more transparency, lower costs, and a system that puts patients over profits.

No prescription drugs that are made the save peoples leaves or better yet to help thier quality of life then it should be made affordable for all to receive their is no reason for medicines that help people should be expensive.

Drugs need to go to the open market... no longer rely on doctors and prescription... all drugs should be on the open market
