Amendment 5 establishes a Revenue Stabilization Trust Fund. Funds from mineral and corporate taxes will be deposited into the fund with the purpose of financing construction projects and transportation infrastructure. The amendment will also use mineral revenues to aid shortfalls in the state employee retirement fund.
