Pro-choice, I probably would not support my partner getting an abortion unless the pregnancy was endangering at least one of their lives. Also, I don't believe that it is reasonable for the government to chose whether or not a couple keeps a child.

 @NarwhalJim from California  asked…2yrs2Y

Do you think there should be legal restrictions on abortion, or should the decision be entirely up to the individual or couple involved?

 @8ZCG4QR from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Pro-choice but after the first abortion the individual should be sterilized

 @8ZCLWBX from Florida  commented…3yrs3Y

So if a girl is raped, and gets an abortion, you want to sterilize her?

**** you, buddy.

 @8CNKP5VLibertarian from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @B55K6C2  from Kansas  answered…1wk1W

Pro-choice - safe, rare, and legal, and there should be a ban after 3 months. Should provide more thorough sexual education and birth control options to mitigate abortions.

 @B44XTC9 from Kansas  answered…2mos2MO

Pro-Life with the belief that we need to fix the system in addition. Better foster care/adoption agencies. Better economy, and ability to help the child when it arrives

 @B3NQ7N5 from Kansas  answered…2mos2MO

I feel personally that if you don't want a child you shouldn't be forced to have it yeah you could give your baby up but that's no easy on anybody especially the mother and father no matter the case but I don't think the abortion law should be allowed to be abused either I think there should be a limit.

 @B3MKLWDRepublican from Kansas  answered…2mos2MO

I feel that if a mother is very far alone where she’s ready to have the baby that it should be illegal, but in the case or rape or incest or an accident then it should be legal

 @B36TF7M from Kansas  answered…3mos3MO

I don’t really have a opinion on it because I’m very unlikely to have such a situation where that involves me

 @B29Z6HQRepublican from Kansas  answered…4mos4MO

i think that the government should no be involved in this issue and it should be individually chosen.

 @B25GFZ5 from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

i don't agree because its not the child's fault but also if someone got rape its not the baby's fault or her fault

 @B22PD88 from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

I see it both ways. But I think it depends on the circumstances. However I do think that it should be illegal after a certain point.

 @B229C5Q from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

I choose to take neither side but whatever happens happens, but maybe a bit pro life and against rape, incest cases. My religion and my girlfriend affects my view, but I necessarily don't take either side fully.

 @9ZZY2K2 from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

I believe that abortions are okay in cases of: victims of rape, incest and death to mother or the child. I also believe that providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions. So, I am in between.

 @9ZT7FRQ from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

I don’t agree with it at all. Don’t get pregnant if you don’t want the child. This goes for rape too. Abortion is a sin.

 @9ZT37SXRepublican from Kansas  answered…5mos5MO

Pro-choice, butproviding birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions ban after the first three months, and

 @9Z9VTPL from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

I believe pro life, but I think in traumatic cases like rape, incest, or harm to the mother or child should be allowed but only in a certain time period. It should NOT be used as birth control though. ,

 @9YH9RD8  from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Pro life for myself, but for others it’s their choice, I don’t have say in their decision neither should the government.Sex education needs to be priority, along with the safety of the mom needs to be taken into consideration. Some instances that call for abortion

 @9YBJFVSPeace and Freedom from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Pro-choice because the government doesn't have control over people including how they live there life

 @9Y6Y8X3 from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

I think the government should not ban it for instances such as women or kids who are raped or when it hurts the kid or mother

 @9XZNBP3 from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Pro-life, but focus on prevention through providing birth control, sex education, and more social services.

 @9X7LK6ZNo Labels from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Allow mother and their doctor to decide as with term limits and increase more harsher laws for rape and incest to support ban on abortion rape and incest.

 @9X673ZC from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

i believe if a women was rapped or is a victim of insest should have to go to court and get it approved. and if a child under 14 gets impregnated then they can have a abortion but only if they go to court and get it approved. Kinda like getting permission for them to get a abortion.

 @9X5T77R from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

no abortion after birth and no abortion unless absolutely necessary don't take life away from a living being Evan if its in the whom

 @9WP4MKX from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

I think it depends on the situation. You can put the baby up for a adoption rather than just ending their like but I also think it's the persons choice.

 @9WDQCSF from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

pr life in the sense that you should only be getting an abortion in case of rape, incest, or danger to mother or child, but pro choice in that there should be birth control allowed and continuing sex education.

 @9W7GXPT from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

Pro-Life, but it is not my body so not my choice. I don’t agree with it but it’s not my place to say something

 @9VWXZ3YDemocrat from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

I think we should keep abortion cause say if you can't provide for the kid at the time and it will have a very good likelihood of ending bad you should or also once you know know your having a baby make sure to get it out right away and not wait till the last minute cause to me when the baby's developed so your pretty much killing it.

 @9VSGTR6Democrat from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

Safe, legal, and rare. True anti-abortion action needs to deal with the social conditions that make abortion prevalent

 @9V6GSRG from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

Abortions are ok, but the government cannot pay for them, and we agree that babies are humans, and abortion is killing them.

 @9V3SS3Q from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

honestly it should be the partents choice but only if both parents agree because there the ones affected by this

 @9V2MXQJ from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

Depending on the situation, it should be allowed for incest, rape, or danger to mother but should provide sex ed and birth control and more social services

 @9T3FJPF from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

It is up to each state now (post Dodds), to determine when life begins and frame their stance on abortion accordingly.

 @9SRTPW2 from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

I don't agree with abortion I'm against it unless your life is at risk giving birth or if your a victim of rape.

 @9SQCKZ6Republican from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

I feel abortion can be done at least before the 9 week mark where the abortion pill can be used. Past that, I wouldn't agree with abortion past 9 weeks.

 @9SLNWNW from Kansas  answered…9mos9MO

Pro-choice, I don't agree and think it should only be used in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child but the government has no right to ban it completely. It should be banned after three months if it was not from rape or incest or if the mother or child is not in danger.

 @9SLM3NF from Kansas  answered…9mos9MO

Pro-choice, however they have up until the 22-week stage to decide being as that is when a baby can survive outside the womb.

 @9RFSBC4 from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

I don’t want anti science individuals making policy decisions that affect the lives or well being of anyone.

 @9R7T9RY from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

Pro choice, but the father should have a right to keep the baby and it should be agreed upon both parent to authorize an abortion.

 @9R4VKSM from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

abortion should be handled in terms of contractual law and the baby considered the thrid party in the contract.

 @9QY278C from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

pro-life, but since there are exceptional situations the choice should rest entirely with the mother and her doctor/family/religious-advisors. legislatures and the state are the worst place to put this decision

 @9QFLVF7 from Kansas  answered…10mos10MO

In cases of rape, incest or danger to the mother or child, then abortion should be an option for the mother alone.

However, if none of the cases are involved, the choices should be up to the mother AND the father as the child is made from both of the parents and there needs to be a documented signed agreement that both of the parents agrees to the abortion.

 @9MXSF93 from Kansas  answered…12mos12MO

Unless you yourself can become pregnant, or have a medical degree, your opinion on a woman's reproductive right is irrelevant

 @9M3PBXV from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Fathers should be able to prevent women from aborting their child and men should be able to walk away from a child and face no child support claims if they do not want the child and sign away their parent rights to the child.

 @9LQYBY9  from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I don’t care either way, I am on the spectrum so I see it as ur body ur choice but not my cup of tea… doesn’t mean it should be banned

 @9LJ37GB from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Abortion is extremely important because it is a way to stop people's lives from being destroyed needlessly.

 @9LC6757 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro Choice and Life, if the child is not sentient, it should be killed and used for sentient people.

 @9KW4JRBSocialist from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, it shouldn't be a double standard or "needs approval" for an operation that promotes well being of said individual.

 @9KHL7T2 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I say pro-life but incases of rape or danger I say they can but if it passes the first couple months to just finish the rest of the way since when you start you should just finish the whole terms.

 @9KFT38G from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice definitely there are so many reasons to not ban abortions, rape, accidental pregnancy, health care reason that the mother can’t carry to term, birth control, sex ed and socials services also need to be better, plan b should also be free if they are going to ban it, banning it will also lead to more illegal ways to kill the baby, or the mother, it will not stop the “killing” of “babies” babies are not even a thing until after the 8th week (10 weeks of pregnancy) so much more as well

 @9KFR3Z4 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-life how ever I do believe that it is everyone’s choice to do with their body as they chose, but late term abortions are immoral if for any reason other than medical.

 @9KDWPK7 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-life, but if child is in an abusive society, make sure child is transported safely to a government facility and then send them to a foster care facility.

 @9KCFNC4 from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

getting rid of abortions wont stop people from getting them it will just be more dangorse for the person getting it. Also abortion isnt just getting rid of a baby if you wanted to get a tumor removed out of your uterus that would count as an abortion.

 @9JTVJ8R from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-Choice, I do not agree with it but the first three months should be legal. The next three months should be up to the state and the last three months should be completely banned except for extreme circumstnaces.

 @9JR5S6JLibertarian from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, but only prior to the viability of the baby. Once the baby can survive outside of the womb, they are people with rights and choices.

 @9JGZGXYJustice party member from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Everyone has the right to their own choice, I'm not saying it's right, but we shouldn't force someone to be a father if they don't want to. In the end, many only come to suffer in this world of people with little minds.

 @9HZJ6YPIndependent from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro life, but we need to be better at providing adoption availability, counseling for individuals who have given up a baby or chosen abortion, and support single mothers.

 @9HXHHNH from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I support getting abortions because if you can't take care of a kid you shouldn't have one if you cant take care of your self.

 @9HXCW8H from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Women should be able to choose what is right for their body but I do not believe it should be used as a form of birth control.

 @9HS9C7T from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Abortion should not be a Federal or State government issue it should be a Woman's religious/spiritual or personal choice without government interferences. Victims of sexual assault should have access to services towards the path of healing. Birth control and sex education should be provided to all people.

 @9HLCWNZ from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

im on both sides i'm against it if you have sex and chose to not use protection and then get ride of the kid but if its like rape or a other situation i'm with it.

 @9HJCZMD from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

My stance on this situation is complicated because theres different circumstances such as girls being sexually assaulted and sometimes its just a mistake between two individuals. Although I believe the child should only be removed if the mother isnt too deep into the process of having the child. Someone trying to come in and have a child removed after waiting 7 or 8 months isnt a question on weather it should be allowed. My stance on the money portion of it is depending on the situation aswell.

 @9HHLPPZ from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Women have the right to their own bodies and should be able to do what they want with them. I don't think people should be able to just sleep around and get abortions every time they get pregnant. But rape and teen pregnancies are a huge problem and need to have a solution.

 @9HG2B65Independent from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I agree with the choice Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother and child, however, the stances pro-life or pro-choice imply other values. I agree with the supreme court decision that the choice should be left up to the states. It encourages participation in the lower levels, but the constitution or bill of rights do not have any substantial basis to protect abortion at a national level, as most were written before it was considered possible for such a thing ti exist. If people are opposed enough, it can make a new amendment or overturn state ban legislation. Mon…  Read more

 @9HFZZWKProgressive from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, but limit number of abortions, and provide greater access to birth control, sex education, and social services

 @9HDPT2NDemocrat from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

pro-choice, where a many up to around 6 months of birth a father can say they don't want to be a father and then have no legal or finical part of the child, but only for the first 6 months of birth

 @9HBDPXX from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, women should be allowed to decide whether or not they want to keep it. Rape, Incest, inefficient funding for single-parent households, etc, health issues with birth.

 @9H4PYRB from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I think that is a hard question, but in my opinion, each person is responsible for their own life, and they can choose what they want to do, it doesn't matter if was a sexual abuse or if not.

 @9H47KPP from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

A woman should have absolute autonomy over her own body, regardless of when in her pregnancy she decides to terminate it.

 @9GTY6SVCA Common Sense from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

It depends on if the mother was raped or if it was consensual because if she was raped I feel like it’s ok but if they didn’t want a kid or whatever I don’t think it’s ok because they could have prevented it.

 @9GNNFTQ from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

im pro minding my own busyness, its not my say on what someone else is gonna do with their body, just like how someone cant tell me what im gonna do with mine.

 @9GD4VGK from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Pro-life but every individual has the right to make their own decision on abortion without feedback by the government.

 @9G8WFKP from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

abortion is not ok if your just messing around without protection but if you get raped or something else happends you should be able to aborte but only if the babys still a few months old but if you just kill your baby case you decide you dont want it then you should not have the right to kill that baby

 @9G8HGNJ from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

At times I think it's not okay to kill a baby but if it's a teenager who can't (at all) take care of a kid then that's fine. But if it's a grown adult who can completely provide for a baby then I think they should reconsider. I wouldn't just resort to apportion for population control.

 @9G6NZCT from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Personally pro-life, but politically each person should have the freedom to choose so long as they are fully informed on all of their options. I believe fully informed consent should be required.

 @9G6BRRMWomen’s Equality from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Pro-choice, if a young child gets raped, they should have an abortion because who knows if the mother would survive giving birth to the child.

 @9G62M3J from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

i think everyone should go through the pregnacy but if they dont want it they shouold do it and give it to adoption ceter or sum

 @9FHZN33 from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

abortions should not be used like birth control, it should be use in dyer cases rape insest life threatening cases

 @9FDJ4ZW from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

i belive that it depends on the situation if the baby and parent are in trouble the mother or others should no longer have the choice but to abort the baby but somtimes birth control and plan b dosent work and they should have the desicion to abort but after 2 months they should no longer have that desicion.

 @9FBJQ8N from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Pro-choice, and providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions

Abortion is great. I don't care how far along the pregnancy is, or even if it was a grown adult person attached to your body, you would STILL have every right to sever that connection, even if doing so would kill the other person, because that's what it means to have bodily autonomy. Your right to your own body, and the decisions over what procedures you will or will not have, or who can or cannot use your body, is one of the single most important rights you can have.

 @8N8TMGB from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9XZ37TV from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Abortion should not be banned. Allow abortions in any cases rape, incest, danger of mother or child, or other reasons.

 @9XDCXZMDemocrat from Kansas  answered…6mos6MO

Pro choice but limited after for trimester with exceptions for danger to mother or child. AND providing birth control and better sex ex will reduce number of abortions.

 @9WDSJ88Reform from Kansas  answered…7mos7MO

Pro choice, ban after first 3 months. Also increase social services and sex education and access to birth control

 @9TBRXRM from Kansas  answered…8mos8MO

I want abortion to be illegal except in cases of bad circumstances such as stated in other answers, however the adoption and healthcare system would need to be completely renovated before that could be a conversation. However, I do think they should still be a ban before the third trimester still.

 @9HKWZ5D from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

Pro-choice, but ban after the first month and a half of pregnancy, AND Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child

 @9G66GJSPeace and Freedom from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that we should be able to do what makes us happy and what is needed for child . The other thing is if you never wanted a child and you got raped then that is a different thing for you to go through but I think that what ever is best for you then do it don't hold back .

 @9FBJW6N from Kansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I am in between the answer "Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child" and "Pro-choice, and providing birth control, sex education, and more social services will help reduce the number of abortions".
