No, They need to take the proper steps to get a work visa or take the steps to get full citizenship while on a current visa

 @9DFJHG2 from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, they may apply with a simple path for citizenship but must do community service for the crime of illegal immigration.

 @9D87YGB from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

If they are free of major, violent crimes, stable, working members who already do the majority of what regular citizens do, than they can stay and be urged to apply for legal citizenship

 @9CLHBKS from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

Give temporary amnesty to nonviolent and non-criminal immigrants while we create either a robust work visa program or a path to citizenship

 @9BZ45C5Independent from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, if they are going through the process of become a citizen and have no criminal record

 @937XM23 from Illinois  answered…3yrs3Y

No. But it should be easier for immigrants with no criminal record to legally immigrate or be granted a work vesa.

Whether an "illegal immigrant" or you are trying to come here legitimately. The government needs to process the applications. If you dont apply for citizenship then you dont get to stick around. Also the fees need to be reduced so they are affordable for the impoverished.

No, remove them from the US and fine companies that employ illegal aliens

There should be some temporary work permit that allows them to live here if they are working. just like a visa. an employer that has hired an illegal immigrant is breaking the law. I-9 form is to prevent and prove that a person employed is a legal citizen.

 @8RDPYYG from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

They should be given a chance for work visas if they have been here for a certain amount of time, pay taxes, and do not committ crimes

No, but fast track the legalization process while making the company they worked for pay all involved fees and costs

Yes, illegal immigrants should be made permanent residents so they can rely on services like the police for protection instead of organized crime, but they must leave and apply through the traditional process to earn citizenship and voting rights.
