The democratic party is NOT left wing

 @97CJ8ZM from Pennsylvania  disagreed…3yrs3Y

Bruh what💀

 @98F3Y6QDemocrat from Ohio  commented…3yrs3Y

Liberalism is not leftist, even if it’s progressivist.

 @6WP5FSYRepublican  from Washington  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Progressive liberalism has always been part of the left. It's simply part of the center left while capitalist abolition is part of the far left.

 @98Z4N8H from North Carolina  commented…3yrs3Y

just because it doesn't critique capitalism doesn't mean it isn't left wing

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican from Maryland  disagreed…5 days5D

Democrat party is pro-socialism. In a true capitalist societies, the rich wouldn't be taxed more than the poor, and the government wouldn't be providing free services like education, healthcare, welfare

 @9HCHSRWSocialist from Utah  commented…2yrs2Y

real, i got 90% democrat but would never consider myself a democrat. socialist all the way democrats are just neutral republicans imo

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington  commented…2yrs2Y

Excuse me – what rock have you been living under for the past 100+ years...?

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  agreed…2yrs2Y

A transparent one apparently because the Democratic Party isn’t even socialist. Joe Biden is a capitalist and just wants rich people to pay 25% taxes. The democrat party is also the Republican Party of the 1800s; the one that had lincoln, due to the party switch.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington  commented…2yrs2Y

The party switch is a gross oversimplification. For example, while the Republican Party did do some atrocious things under Lincoln, the Jacksonian Democrats violently defied state's rights under Andrew Jackson in the nullification crisis of 1832, supported direct mobocracy, which true republicans resolutely oppose, wanted to carry out an unconstitutional power in removing the Indians, which Republicans would be opposed to, supported inflation, which Republicans are opposed to. The Republican Party has always resolutely supported the Gold Standard, and usually been on the side of non-interference in foreign affairs. So I agree with you that the parties have evolved, but it's not a clear-cut switch, elements of both early version of the party have amalgamated into the two party system we see today.

 @9NVY8F9 from Missouri  agreed…1yr1Y

I would mostly agree with that, except the "removing the Indians" part. If that is the case, why are you so obsessed with removing immigrants.

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican from Maryland  commented…4 days4D

What happened was the democrats decided that instead of pitting white people against everyone else, they'd pit everyone else against the white people. The republicans, who were formerly trying to win equality for blacks like voting rights, now had to switch sides to fight the democrats from being racist - against white people.

your a boy or girl not trans but respect your opinion I support same sex marriage but the t in lgb is a made up gender because how many genders are their it must be hard finding out what is a woman if you are woke I'm just a moderate liberal

 @B3C3HQL from Utah  commented…5mos5MO

Generally when someone transitions, but not always, they go from being male -> female.

Or female -> male.

Trans isn't a gender?

 @983K76N from Pennsylvania  commented…3yrs3Y

I identify with Democrats more because I feel that they have a wider variety of ideologies than the Republicans do. With Republicans it is mostly QAnon new-comers or MAGA libertarians (and maybe a few moderates if you get lucky); Democrats have progressives, moderates, centrists, democratic socialists, and a few conservatives like Joe Manchin.

 @UNC4life from North Carolina  disagreed…2yrs2Y

I identify as a dem but that's just wrong. That's an unfair generalization of the Republicans. Liz Cheney, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Chris Sununu. There are so many decent and honorable Republicans. It's just unfortunate what Trump has done to their party.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington  corrected…2yrs2Y

Indeed Trump has caused harm to the Republican Party but Liz Cheney, John McCain – everyone you listed – have done far worse. These people are neocons who support endless foreign wars, endless foreign aid, limitless abortions, limitless spending and deficits, and don't give a dang about states rights, enumerated powers, or the constitution. Whenever a Republican votes against Party he is showered with praise – whenever a Democrat, like Joe Minchin votes against his party, the media rains h–ll on him.

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican from Maryland  disagreed…5 days5D

All of Trump's policies align with fiscal and social conservatism views, which is the ideology of the republican party. Not all republicans are 100% aligned with all republican viewpoints, but that doesn't make Trump's policies un-republican.

In what ways should a government support or not support diversity and inclusion within society?

  @B636G7G  from Louisiana  commented…2wks2W

The democratic party has turned into a group funded by foreign Middle Eastern oil money, although the Bidens have shown that they will take any country's money, even China and Iran, to sell out American and our allies' interests. They are a cabal being directed to do everything possible to destroy our country. We should be investigating each one of them, including their families. Biden was hiding payoffs through family members. Follow the money, then drag it out to the light, charge them accordingly, some have been caught I think they don't want to charge them because they thin…  Read more

The election this year is crazy former president Donald Trump V.S Kamala Harris is going off the charts, I never knew the Democrats could do so well in two years for President... Now I don't want any beef but the Democrat party is doing especially well this year even though I lean more toward the Republican side I never knew I could be a Democrat, I stand for all women with bravery and I respect Kamala Harris for putting herself out there for the woman proving once again women can do the same things that men can do! The only question I have is does anyone know how to find the characteristics on this website?

oportunidades Muchas personas han visto cómo la falta de acceso a una educación de calidad puede limitar las oportunidadñes laborales y el desarrollo personal. Esto puede llevar a una demanda de políticas que garanticen igualdad en el acceso a la educación.

 @B5CRSFGRepublican from New York  commented…3mos3MO

The Democratic Party has never been a good or moral American institution. Andrew Jackson for Christ’s sake was the very first democratic president. He was responsible for the Indian removal act. Oversaw the rape, pillaging and murder of countless native Americans. It was the Democratic Party who fought to keep slavery alive in the United States of America and break away from this great country. It was the Democratic Party that orchestrated the assignation of Abraham Lincoln because he in fact freed the slaves and kept this country in tact.
