While protests are a right, there needs to be a line drawn when public safety and law enforcement are threatened. If laws were broken, accountability is necessary—but the government also has a duty to avoid overreach.
Whether you agree with the protest or not, charging people with 'conspiracy' for exercising free speech and assembly sets a dangerous precedent. The government shouldn't use fear tactics to suppress political expression.
