The shame is right now there are Republicans and Democrats, black people and white people, straight people and LGBTQ people waiting to see who the Apalachee High School shooter in Georgia is so they can use it for their narrative.

 @Activ1stLucyConstitution from Illinois  agreed…2yrs2Y

We all know it was likely an FBI or CIA groomed person no matter what. Georgia is a battleground state. Random timing on the mass shooting for sure.

 @L1bertarian2001Working Family from Tennessee  agreed…2yrs2Y

Why can’t we all just agree that whoever the shooter is, they are evil.

 @S0cialistEmiliaWomen’s Equality from Tennessee  commented…2yrs2Y

True. But I also think it does a disservice to the public to not be curious and explore the shooter’s background in search of motives.

In the Nashville shooting, the media was disappointingly uninterested in exploring the shooter’s manifesto, to the public’s detriment

Nothing will ever change. The government won’t secure the schools because they use it to push an agenda. Just like the order. We are expendable. They secure their own though. Bet.

Mike Collins represents GA-10 where Apalachee High School is located. He featured guns in his campaign ads.

 @SadRightistDemocrat from Georgia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

What does this have to do with anything? Absolute garbage post. You ought to be ashamed of yourself, seriously. Politicizing instead grieving with the families of those lost. Freaking ridiculous.

 @IdealisticVultureDemocrat from Georgia  agreed…2yrs2Y

Mike Collins is pro-election lies, pro-gun, anti-family and anti-democracy.

 @PloverRubyGreen from Illinois  agreed…2yrs2Y

Idiots like that crack me up... talking about **** he doesn't even understand while holding a gun to look menacing.

Universal, national background checks–no exceptions–with a fully populated, real-time updated database to check against. Red flag laws. Owners insurance. Penalties for unsecured guns. Certain classes of arms & ammo stored in and used at gun clubs only, never at home or in public.

 @MercifulPl4tformPeace and Freedom from Washington D.C.  agreed…2yrs2Y

As a gun owner, I have no problem with any of this.

As a gun owner in Massachusetts, I'm glad we have some of this already. Coincidentally, we're also the 2nd lowest state in the country for firearm mortality.

Considering the emotional and physical toll of school shootings, how should schools prepare students and staff without inducing fear or anxiety?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

In what ways do you believe society contributes to the occurrence of school shootings, and how can we, as individuals, work to counteract these influences?
