Controlling guns more could be an attack on our rights, furthermore guns aren't the problem it's the people using them.

Guns should be a part of everybodys life. I believe this because yes whild there are some ciminials, people carry to protect themselves and their loved ones.

“I’m not sure your statistic really connects to gun control. Most arrests everywhere are for low-level offenses, so the 75–80% figure doesn’t tell us much about gun policies, which focus on violent crimes involving firearms. To evaluate gun control, the more important questions are about violent gun crime rates, how offenders get guns, and which policies actually reduce harm. Minor arrests don’t really speak to that.”

Criminals, by definition, do not obey the law. Gun control laws only affect law-abiding people who go through legal avenues to obtain firearms. Criminals overwhelmingly obtain their firearms through illegal channels and will never be deterred by state and federal laws.

I think gun control should be more controlled because people who sell guns don't pay enough attention to the background of the person purchasing the gun, and people end up getting killed by it

I disagree, they shouldn't arrest people with silly crimes so easily when they have bigger crimes to focus on and try preventing.

Gun control needs more reform than what we currently have, and a crime involving a firearm-even one that's "not even that bad"-should be treated with importance.

I don't agree with this comment because even if many arrests are for low-level offenses, gun control laws are meant to prevent serious harm and to protect the people.
