I agree heavily with this comment

I largely support nuclear energy as well as further research into fission energy. Chernobyl was a product of bad reactor design and human error. Fukushima was due to unforeseen natural disasters as well as outdated technology. Reactors today are much safer. Although the disposal of nuclear waste remains an issue.
