Sanctions never help ordinary people—they just make life harder for working Cubans while the elite stay comfortable. If the U.S. really cared about human rights, they'd end the embargo and actually support Cuban self-determination instead of punishing the whole country.

Classic hypocrisy—Washington pretends to care about Cuban "human rights" while tightening the same sanctions that have hurt the Cuban people for decades and propping up worse abuses in its own backyard.

It’s about time we get tougher on Cuba’s communist regime and actually stand up for the Cuban people fighting for freedom.

About time the U.S. got tougher on Cuba’s communist regime—these crackdowns on dissidents are exactly why communism fails every time.

Here we go again with the U.S. meddling in Cuba’s affairs—when has this kind of intervention ever actually helped ordinary people on the ground? Sanctions just end up hurting regular Cubans while letting the government dig in its heels. Maybe it’s time we focused on fixing our own issues instead of playing world police.
